Im sold on Loma, think hes pretty much unbeatable from what Ive seen. I am not a fan of his ****iness but he does back it up. Who should he have to beat to change the doubters mind? From current 130-135, maybe 140 guys?
Id personally love to see him vs Mikey Garcia. that would be a huge victory for him cause Mikey legit as well
It wasn't the official weight he missed...it was his OWN catchweight that he missed.
A weight he didn't have to agree to in the first place.
Stop crying
JMM didn't even cry about it:lol1:
It did agree, and agreed it in a a written contract with Marquez.
A cowardly move

Hi c0ckiness cost him his first lost. He's the truth, problem is there isn't much talent down there. He just needs to keep ripping them apart. Would love to see how he does against Garcia, Easter or maybe even Lipinets if he gets to 140. All of these would be good fights. Linares would be ok too, but I think he's just a fancy fighter with no real skills. Loma would dismantle him easy. You can't outfancy Loma. These other 3 fights would be more interesting in my opinion.
Look at this b*tch cry over 2lbs:lol1:
Floyd didn't screw over anybody fella.
He was quite generous being that he didn't need JMM at all in the least but.
It was just 2lbs wee fellow.
Not generous when you have no intention to making the weight, and it's just a way to dupe your small opponent into taking the fight.
You know why he didn't need JMM, because no one was calling for the fight.
No one. Have you not seen the career of Floyd Mayweather? Whoever Loma beats, his detractors will find a reason to discredit the win and then find another boogeyman, and his fans will support his wins and see them as a reason to trumpet his greatness. Rinse and Repeat. This **** is Floyd's career, the twilight zone version.
It won't matter. May never beat enough people to satisfy everyone. Neither did Ward. Yet, both had outstanding resumes.
For me, I'd like to see Loma beat Mikey if I'm to consider him in an all-time context. But, you're not going to please the people who have already decided they're against him.
All this crying over 2lbs while blowing Loma for fighting an old midget all the way from the 122lb division:lol1:
It was in the contract because Floyd allowed it.
A cheap move would have been not to agree to anything below the WW and a big f*ck you instead of a fine.lol
If Floyd had no intention he would not have agreed in the first place.
Mayweather was in the driver's seat and quite generous.
Yes, he agreed to it and so did Marquez. But Floyd screwed him over.
Rigo and Lomachenko agreed on a weight, and a re hydration clause, and they were gentlemen and honoured the contract and the agreement.
Floyd has no honour.
Would you cheat on your wife? steal from your job lie about your tax returns?
More of a courtesy than an agreement.
Floyd doesn't/didn't need JMM for anything.
Agreeing to a 144lb catweight was a courtesy, just like the fine he paid
Mayweather could have done an Oscar De La Hoya and told JMM to kicks rocks or accept 147...and a far smaller purse.
Stop acting like Floyd weighed in over the WW limit
He was one pound under the official weight limit 146 and a mere 2lbs over the courtesy weight 144.
You guys whine like Floyd weighed 800lbs.:lol1:
Unlike Rigo,JMM was able to handle himself at the higher weight.
Rigo can't bust a grape at 130.
Not courtesy, it was in the contract. As Marquez wouldn't sign.
Floyd also took the fight so he could avoid Pacquiao.
And hardly a courtesy when you have no intention of making the weight.
Cheap move by Mayweather, just another reason why that win is discredited
Even you know you're not right.
Floyd did not weigh over 147.
He weighed over the AGREED limit he had with JMM
An agreement he didn't have to agree to in the first place.:lol1:
Floyd could have easily told JMM to kick rocks.
An agreement nevertheless.
Marquez was aiming for one limit while Floyd aiming for another.
If Loma and Rigo would have agreed a catchweight fight of 127lbs and Loma just came in at 130lbs, do you think that would lessen his victory?
140 is the appropriate weight. Loma can be at a disadvantage just like Rigondeaux was.
Robert and mikey garcia have already said there coming back down to 135 to face lomachenko
Miguel Berchelt
Yuriorkis Gamboa
Robert Easter Jr*
Jorge Linares*
Gervonta Davis
Felix Verdejo
Mikey Garcia
They are the big names in and around his weight class.
Any 3 who wants it next year, with Garcia being the the pinnacle.
The problem is that a lot of them are running scared because it not only the L the fear but getting embarrassed
When Pac was coming up, I didn't like him.
He beat Barrera who I like.
He got the draw with Marquez and broke his nose, who I also liked.
He ultimately beat Morales twice who I'm a big fan of.
Then I said everybody would beat him until he fought DLH.
When he made him quit, I finally just thought that maybe this guy IS that good.
From then on, I appreciated Pac as a fighter and got to liking him.
In the end, just because you don't like a fighter doesn't mean they aren't talented and overall good or even great. The saltiness must bow eventually to gain any wisdom.
Precisely man, good to see someone admit that they’ve been down that road and come back so to speak...The same thing will happen with Floyd too, people will eventually let go of their disdain for him.
(I know this isn’t a Floyd thread, just another fighter of recent times where droves of fans that didn’t/don’t like him couldn’t accept what he has done/was doing)
Same thing will happen with Loma, even if he goes up in weights and carries on looking so good, there’s still gonna be guys totally unimpressed because they aren’t a fan and always hide it behind throwing ‘fighter x’ into the mix.
Don’t need to be a fan of a guy to acknowledge credentials.
