LOL @ people that think 5-10 lbs difference matter in a fight. Same people that said Chocolatito lost because he went up to a weight division that was 3lbs up. The only thing that matters in this fight is that Lomachenko is taller.
Lomachenko shouldn't get more credit for rehydration clause (because that clause doesn't change anything for him, he's always around that weight on fight nights) but people who thinks it's a mismatch or something are underrating Rigo. He WILL make Loma work hard for the win and won't allow anybody to play with him. Loma will go through hell
I have Loma something like 8-4/9-3. As good as rigo is just bad style for him plus that he's older and smaller. He just not active enough and I just don't see anyone slowing Loma down.
I agreed with you 100%. They even go as far as "promoting" the fight themselves. With their BS "A and B side". What do I care how much they make? I just want to see the best fight the best, regardless of who would I like to win or not. So if a boxer like Barrera doesn't take 60K for a fight, he is ducking. Do they know how much the guy takes home, after taxes, manager trainer, camp? No they don't but they call him a coward. In any case I love to watch two evenly matched fighters. I'll be rooting for my favorite but, I'll want him to fight the best even if he lose...
How the hell you got all red thinkin like that????????????????

I wish you would write that 1st few sentences over and over and over again.Matter a fact make like ten posts saying same thing.Maybe then some of these fanboys would get it.GOD I WISH I COULD CLONE YOU LOL.Think this is 1st time seeing you(I'm somewhat new)But that post deserves karma.
Will you guys give hime more credit now that he has to weigh in at 138 max in the morning of fight night?
That's that he weighs on fite night.Matter a fact I think that's ex what he weighed last fitenite.
That's some real shit right here. Everytime you see some opinion on NSB, you have to ask yourself if there's some agenda behind it or not, a lot of these NSB so called fans are busy with getting involved in these lil racial or nationalistic (UK vs. USA/Joshua vs. Wilder) wars they love over here, it feels like they're gonna benefit from it or like they want to live through "their" fighters and achievments that doesn't belong to them. I'm from Russia, most of boxing fans rooting for Lomachenko here, but some of them rooting for Rigondeaux too, because he never had the chance to develop his career or for whatever reasons....Nobody cares about all these lil racial and nationalistic conflicts over here. If you want to support your fighters because they're from your country or whatever....that's good but disrespecting other fighters or taking the credit from them is NOT how you support your kind. The truth is, they want the other guys to lose more than they want their guys to win. When some posters keep making threads about golovkin everyday you can't help but wonder if they're mentally stable. OK, we get it, he's beating nothing but bums, he's trash, let's move on, why you're trying to tell the same stuff over and over again? And I didn't like Golovkin (I've started to respect him only after Canelo fight), I'm not interested in him and barely talking about Golovkin here but these motherfuckers looks obsessed with him
But I'd say don't do the same mistake like these guys and don't underrate Rigondeaux, he won't be easy to deal with for any fighter out hereI agreed with you 100%. I agree. It's a lot of small minded people with big insecurities. Crying about anything good said about a fighter because his skin tone or ethnic background they find repulsive. Blind and ignorant hatred based on race and obsessive love based on race and guess what? These fighters aren't going to personally thank them for rooting for them in fact I think the fighters they blindly lust over would be appalled at the childish views on other fighters. I don't consider these cretins Boxing fans. They are Boxer fans/haters. Incapable of forming a valid opinion or comment.
The worst most obvious case of blatant bias/irrational hate is the Lomachenko only beat Walters because he was rusty and will only beat Rigo because he's moving up but Crawford wins over Gamboa and Postol are great. I'm cool if your consistent in the hate (not cool I still think they are clowns) but to change your own rules and standards and bash a fighter for something you ignore on another is pathetic. I am a big Crawford fan and he deserves credit for those wins but fair is fair.
100% can't even have a good honest opinion because these rah rah fans always detract from the actual sport

That's what Rigo's trainer said rcently, it doesn't matter though, not sure why people making a big deal out of it
Oh right, if it's 138 lbs they might as well of not put it in tbh. Can't see it making it difference as you said.
Is there actually a rehydration clause or are you just making that up? I feel like it would've be known from credible sources a while back if there was, not just a thread starter randomly saying it a few weeks before fight night.
Anyway i can't wait for this fight :boxing:

Edit: Just saw the article with his trainer saying it... i take that back
lol, I don't have time to individually respond to Loma fans who threw a fit over what I said but you guys are so dishonest. You're trying to convince me that Loma isn't that big, and in doing so, are bolstering my greater point about the weight clause not being any reason to give him extra credit!! It's one or the other guys. He's either small and 138 doesn't mean anything, or he's big and this is reason to make the W more legit. Loma fans want to grab credit from everything, in every way possible. Stop being so insecure.

If Rigo wins it will be a huge upset. Only reason Arum made this fight was because...
1. Weight advantage
2. Rigo inactivity (can't really count that Flores fight as active)
3. Age and chin
No way does Rigo win a decision, Arum will do anything in his power to make sure his fighter comes out on top. Just look at the Donaire fight, Rigo won 9-3 on rounds and it was close on the cards. Rigo is a crazy mofo

Quoted for truth. The best they can come back with is "Well Walters fought like he was rusty Postol and Gamboa didn't".. You can't make this **** up more than a few posters have told me that. The same way Gamboa was out for a year and coming up in weight and MUCH smaller than Bud is a great win but this one has already been written off by the same folk who before the fight was signed said Loma was scared and he would get destroyed. They are all good wins but many people here go too far in support of a guy and/or two far when discrediting a fighter so they move the goal posts and change their rules showing mad hypocrisy. Another one is I saw the same folks claiming Walters was too good, too big, too man for Loma also said Postol was garbage before Bud beat him now Walters is a bum and Postol is a beast. Both assessments before and after are totally wrong and obviously made to fit a narrative.
I saw on here and other places online Salido didn't do anything wrong with the weight and the low blows were legit body shots.
I saw also that Russell was going to wipe the floor with Lomachenko.
I saw Walters would destroy him.
I saw he'd run from Rigo and would get destroyed.
All of this has been proven dramatically incorrect yet the folks most adamant of the above are the one's who dump on those accomplishments and give not an ounce of credit. They are the same folks who back Wilder and won't dare criticize his resume or skill.

If Lomachenko loss to big ass Salido was legit then he supposed to get full credit for Rigondeaux too.
Words of wisdom right here. It's not like the size will be a factor
I don't understand how it works, Crawford gets the credit for fighting small Gamboa but Lomachenko doesn't get the credit for taking a fight against MUCH better fighter in Rigondeaux.
Lomachenko doesn't get the credit for inactive Walters, but Crawford gets the credit for Postol and Gamboa who were coming off the same 1 year lay off. It gets absurd to the point when some retarded NSB poster told me "Rusty Walters can't be better than Postol, he was inactive" I was like "For real, you dumb fuck, guess what Postol and Gamboa were inactive for 1 year too" but I'm not trying to take credit from Crawford unlike these guys who's trying to take credit from Lomachenko.
They say "GRJ win doesn't count because Russell was green" I'm like really, it was only 3rd Lomachenko pro fight so who was more green at the end of the day? That's some hater mentality right here. NSB is a bunch of haters who's trying to take credit from fighters all the time

And.... what wrights does he normally fight at?
OK, so you now see the point. He fights at 130. Loses less than 10 pounds from his walking around weight to make weight. He could still make 126. Now you see my point
Reach would be more important than size in this fight. Rigo is fucked if he can't keep Loma at distance with his reach.
Boxrec says Rigo has longer reach but Lomachenko is taller on the other hand, so it's hard to say who's going to have an advantage in that department
I don’t even want to analyze the fight anymore I’m just glad it’s happening. Which other weights should take notice of.
