Hurd VS Charlo is actually interesting

So as a DMV native, I'm all for my man Hurd. The thing I like most is he's been underdog in each of his last four fights and won them all by stoppage. Odds eventually catch up, but he has not been the betting favorite to date and probably won't be if he continues to take top flight comp, but he wins. Against the odds. i bet on Hurd at -300 favorite.

I wasnt impressed with Hurd tbh, not the best technically, then again the Charlo's are massively over hyped so it wouldnt be that surprising if he ended up beating one of them.

Charlo doesn't have the best stamina as he faded down the stretch vs Trout and others. Very explosive in early to mid-rounds though. HUrd is like Margarito almost. He's crude but rough and tough with elite stamina. I wonder if he can walk Charlo downI think he can. He walked through Trout's best punches and Trout was throwing and landing multiple bombs for 6 rounds. Trout may not be a big puncher but neither is Jermell. Hurd has heart, good stamina, a great chin and KO power in both hands. I think he beats Jermell.

Charlo stops him in about 4 rds.

That was Rosado 4 years ago and he was the bigger fighter. And Vanes has only lost to Lara and Andrade, world champs. Those are the exact type of fights someone like a Lubon/J-Roc needed before a title shot. It would've been better for Lubin to fight them beforehand but 160 Charlo wins are still better than the 154 Charlo.

Hurd is not ready for Charlo, believe me. I don't mind Hurd taking time to pick his next fight with extreme caution. Charlo vs Lara should be the fight to make.

I'll definitely be pulling for Hurd, but I don't see it. Too many flaws to beat a guy like Charlo Too much volume and pressure. If Hurd can survive to round 5. it's curtains for Charlo imo
