If Andre Ward is Golovkin's boogeyman, is Wladimir Klitschko Ward's ULTIMATE boogeyman?
Why didn't Ward move up to heavyweight and fight his lord, his god, his master, his annihilator and his rapist named Wladimir Klitschko, the greatest boxer in history?
Nobody cares for Rigo, does that make him any less of a boxer ? The guy is infinitely more skilled than GGG and Canelo, doesn't block punches with his face, doesn't leave question marks over who actually won when he fights, unlike GGG who in some quarters lost against Jacobs and drew against Canelo, a belief I also hold.
What do sales have to do with skill ? Look how many tuned in to Macgregor vs Floyd. The trend would suggest the lower the skilled the more excitement in the fight, hence why guys like Rigo and Ward don't sell like GGG and Canelo.
GGG said he'd face Ward at 164 but face Froch and Chavez at 168, how does that make you feel ?
Like ward chickened out. “Id fight floyd at 160”. Gennady is part of a million ppv, Gennady calls the shots. Ward knows this and realizes he backed himself into a corner. He retired instead of letting GGG guide him to his career high payday. Nobody cares that ward retired. He fought like 4 times in 7 years. Nobody is missing anything by him retiring.
GGG was a part of a million ppv. Ward, nobody really gives a schit about. He popped off about GGG, declined to fight and retired. “I’d fight floyd at 160 though”. GGG said he will meet at 164, “nah”.

He has accomplished his goal, he sacrificed legacy for riches, Ward established a superior lasting legacy, he'll be remembered as a superior boxer whilst GGG was the A side to who, Wade ? Rosado ? Lmao.

Golovkin will go down with the best middleweight record in history of boxing, just like how Wladimir Klitschko has gone down with the best heavyweight boxing record in istory.
Both have the best record, against the best level of opposition in their own, respective weight divisions.
The same cannot be stated of Andre Ward, who isn't better in any division than either Golovkin or Wladimir Klitschko.
'Moving up in weight' is a fallacy. If a boxer competes in his natural weight division, against opponents his own weight and has the discipline to stay in shape to continue competing in his own weight division, it is ridiculous to criticize said boxer for not moving to different weight divisions. Otherwise, you might as well criticize every boxer who hasn't fought at heavyweight.
Love when people make this analogy because it reveals their low IQ.
What analogy? According to some here, any boxer that doesn't move up in weight can't be considered a great or is criticized incessantly for not fighting guys in a totally separate weight division.
By that logic, any boxer that doesn't compete at heavyweight can't be considered a great boxer. So all other boxers below heavyweight are inferior to heavyweights then.
GGG accomplished his goal. Hes the a side over ward. Ward retired instead.

Well said. GGG is an anomaly in today's boxing. Never seen a so called elite fighter so afraid to challenge himself and so content picking on the small guys. There's even talks of him fighting Cotto next. As I see it, he will either fight Cotto or Saunders, fight Canelo, then retire. What a sh1t career that would be.
Considering he went life and death with a guy fighting at the full weight class for the first time I'm inclined to agree it isn't a career in any way comparable to Ward's, if Ward had persisted at 168 facing guys of the calibre of Wade, Rubio, Murray, Macklin, Brook and Rosado his record of KO's would be as impressive as GGG's, instead Ward has wins shut out wins over superior opposition like Froch, Dawson, Abraham, Bika, Barrera, Kovalev and Kessler, comparing the levels theyve fought at their not even comparable.
Ward has the mindset of a winner, GGG was of the mind he aint moving up to establish greatness and chose to sit padding his record with nobodies until he got the Canelo fight.
Ward will be remembered as a superior boxer and a superior legacy.

not klitschko, but joshua is. If you are gonna talk about someone, saying youll fight them, saying you can beat them, then not make the fight when it comes down to it, in my eyes that makes you a loudmouth gob****e who wont back up there talk.
And you're a Golovkin fan ?... Puzzling.
Ward retired after he seen GGG walk right threw Connelos punches. He did not want any of that work. GTFO with that b.s. offer where Ward needed everything his way including 2 tuneup fights before he stepped in the ring with G. You know the bs contract that was turned down in about 40 min. HBO G you want to fight Ward? YES Ward you want to fight G now? No I need more time after wasting 2 years of my career. But everyone Blames G for not making the fight. I believe HBO on what went down.
There's a big difference from fighting someone who weighs-in 8lbs heavier to someone that weighs-in 70lbs heavier. :dunce:
Ridiculous comparison. But is to be expected from a retard that thinks the ORG rankings are more credible and less corrupt than rankings like TBRB's.
Ward actually moved up a division and fought the best there. Lil G didn't want to do the same.
Ward said he could beat Klitschko. Instead he retired.
No, because Anthony Joshua is Ward's boogeyman, Ward retired instead of fighting one of the hottest heavyweight talents right now, Ward said he'd move to heavyweight, but he lied just like he has lied about countless things before.
LOL, Ward was at 168 lbs most of his career, GGG wouldn't even go to 164 to fight Ward.
Face it, GGG's legacy will forever be lacking because he did not move an ounce from 160 and he waited until he was old to start fighting guys who were actual quality fighters.
Sucks for GGG fans, guy waited too long, he would have to fight until he's 40 to build an ATG legacy now. Probably falls outside the top 100 All Time. And here's the thing, if he had spent his career fighting serious opponents he wouldn't be 37-0-1, he'd be more like 32-5-1.
