Rewatched the fight, it was great. I actually scored a draw.
Golovkin was nervous in the first 3 rounds, he gave Canelo too much respect. But he adapted bigly after the third, Canelo also slowed down bigly.
Now G knows Canelo has nothing to trouble him with , he'll let his hands go from the opening bell, inflicting more damage on Canelo early, and he'll eventually win via late round TKO imo.
Da walking punching bag landed more punches in 10 of the 12 rounds while Canelo only landed more punches in 1 round. Dat boy will beat da sh*t out of Ca$hnelo in da rematch brotha.
Nah you got it **** up fam. Dat hype job got expozedddd once and he gone be sleepin da next time.
Without question, if he lands enough punches he most definitely will; Even perhaps by knockout. However, he just can't go several rounds or several minutes of every round just moving his upper and lower body while only moving his hands in spurts.
He has to land enough punches without choosing and picking to throw them so deliberately and cautiously. He cannot allow Golovkin to outwork him and beat him to the punch next time. He is going to have to punch in bunches three minutes of every round in order to win decisively.
He'll tear through Candelita in under 10 rds this time. Bodywork, jabs, uppercuts, hooks, the whole arsenal will be unleashed and the diva will go down several times. MAKE IT HAPPEN!!!!

I see it playing out the same way. Golovkin was much too tentative early on. He knows now what Canelo has to offer so I think he'll go after him right away.
Havent rewatched but from what i remember ggg wasnt able to cut the ring off like earlier in his career. His legs are slowing down . Hes aging. Reflexes and handspeed are slowing. Didnt go to body because he was wary of canelos uppercut counters. canelo was in the corner and hit ggg with a counter bodyshot uppercut in round 1 or 2
Canelo has shown in past that he picks up on things during fights and improves for his next fight.
Vegas has this a 60-40 fight for ggg again . I would favour canelo
People overrate the ability to cut off the ring. When your opponent is determined to get away, they can and will unless you're willing to put yourself in a bad position chasing/cutting them off. I saw GGG cautiously cut the ring and Canelo aggressively try to get distance at times. GGG didn't want to walk into a trap.
Rematch wise, GGG has more to improve on than Canelo. I think that was the best Canelo can do, its not like he'll all of a sudden get amazing stamina and change his fighting style to be more consistent. GGG on the other hand can come out harder knowing what he's up against and have a better plan for getting to the body/making sure the right lands better.
Nah brotha, hes jus a euro plodder. Ca$hnelo will jus skool dat boy easier dis time, he way too skilled for da walking heavy bag. GG power overrate bruv.Da walking punching bag landed more punches in 10 of the 12 rounds while Canelo only landed more punches in 1 round. Sorry TS. I am so used to GGG haters saying GGG loses the rematch that I thought you were saying the same thing. After rereading the thread headline I see you are picking GGG to win the rematch easier than he won the first fight. I agree with you an apologize for my mistake.
How do you win a rematch easier than you won the first fight when you ran, got out thrown and out landed and lost the first fight but were lucky enough to get a draw? My money is on GGG to win the rematch easier than he won the first fight. GGG needed a while to get the feel of Canelo who is fast and explosive with unusual combinations. He will know him better and get rolling faster in the rematch. Canelo can't match GGG's stamina, work rate, chin and power. That won't change in a rematch.

Either Canelo is not bringing his power up to 160, or GGG has got one hell of a beard :lol1:. In the 9th round, at about 1:37, Canelo's right hand came all the way up from his waste, and nearly took GGG's head off his shoulders :lol1:! It was a thunderous shot. It whiplashed GGG's head for a second, and he shook it off.
The uppercut was there ALL night for Canelo! GGG was hunching over, coming in, because of Canelo's shorter height. Canelo caught him a couple times, but he really didn't exploit that as much as he could.
