Imagine Khan beats both Saunders and GGG to unify all the belts in the middleweight division. In that admittedly unlikely scenario, where does that place Khan in the p4p and ATG lists?
Khan does have a shot to upset Saunders if the fight is held at a 155 catchweight, he was clearly beating Canelo until being caught clean with a shot that would have KOd 99% of opponents. However beating GGG is an entirely different proposition and the fight would most likely end up with Khan getting stopped. But GGG may be on the decline so if they fought a year from now, Khan's chances of causing the upset may be improved against the much bigger and heavier fighter, especially if he could bring GGG down to a 155 catchweight.
Does the world's most feared welterweight, Amir Khan, the man who was undeniably avoided by Mayweather, Pacquiao, Marquez, Bradley and Broner, have the ability to shock the world once again, capture the Middleweight throne, and forever secure his place in the history books as one of boxing's greatest participants?
He's actually leaving his wife, I'm surprised he stayed with her this long. The only unfortunate part is that there's a child involved but other than that he's way better off without that girl.
Whatever dude...
Khan is done, his wife is leaving him and he is reduced to wanking into a tissue on skype.

At 155 CW, yeah, Khan could be competitive. He was actually out-boxing Canelo up until he got put to sleep. But Khan would need to survive for 12 rounds without going toe to toe. He has a tendency to get caught up in brawls and even if BJS comes down to 155 for the fight, you know he blows up to 170+ for the fight. Khan has the speed, but don't know if he has the power to keep him from getting inside. If Saunders can take the best punches from Lee, Eubank and Monroe, he will walk right through Khan.
Saunders has never fought at 155 before, the lowest he ever fought was 158 1/2 and that was 10 years ago. Even though they saw great results with his conditioning in the last camp, there's really no telling what sort of BJS shows up at a 155 CW but his own trainer is the one who proposed the idea of dropping to 154. That's pretty much where the gamble is for BJS and for Khan. Now if history is anything to go by, there's a chance he'll be somewhat compromised as a fighter at 155 because he's never had to make that weight in all his 8 years as a pro. And depending on how compromised he is, if he fought someone with the speed of Khan in his first fight down at 155 we might see something similar to a Pac-De La Hoya situation unfold. No guarantee, but it's one plausible scenario at least.
So you don't think Khan has a shot against Saunders at a 155 CW? Saunders own trainer said he's willing to go down to 154. Why are they suddenly starting to think about going down in weight, because they realize that Saunders isn't a big puncher at 160 after he couldn't dispatch of Monroe Jr by KO. The whole point of that fight was to gauge how he'd do against a former GGG opponent, and the whole point of a Khan fight (from Saunders side) is to gauge how he'd do against a former Canelo opponent.

If Khan Beats Saunders And GGG At 155 catchweight and Unifies Middleweight Division? ...and the cow jumped over the moon.
Didn't know LSD was still being used as a recreational drug. Give it a few hours and your hallucinations will wear off.

At 155 or even 160 I would love this fight. Canelo is bigger, stronger and faster than BJS and Khan didn't do half bad. I think Khan could go to at least 9 rounds before getting stopped, he has a good chance for the upset.
You're such a biased moron.
Canelo landed the same punch he landed on Khan and Golovkin legitimately didn't even flinch. The same punch that blew Amir into a thousand pieces.
It was the same technique but it wasn't the same punch with the same power. Golovkin's head was turning away from the punch before it landed and Canelo just about grazed his chin with the punch whereas Khan was moving into it and took the punch full force, square on. Totally different scenarios. It's funny how one misguided person claimed it was exactly the same punch and then a bunch just jump on the bandwagon, failing to use their own eyes to reach the very obvious and self-evident conclusion that there were actually fundamental differences in the punch, it's power, the positions of the fighters, their momentum and so on.

You wouldn't give Khan a shot to beat Saunders at a 155 catchweight? He was beating Canelo before he made the mistake and just stood still and almost squared up against Canelo. I can't see Saunders having as much pop as Canelo, even if he did catch Khan. Providing Khan sticks to a similar gameplan he did for Alexander, he has a shot to beat Saunders at 155. By no means am I saying it's guaranteed, but he does have a shot if he fights a near perfect fight as he's shown he is capable of doing in the past.
GGG isn't a particularly fast puncher, in one year's time he may be even slower. It's not completely out of the realms of possibility that Khan could pull it off, especially if his team negotiate 155 and if he catches GGG at the right time (like Canelo tried to do). Obviously we all know if GGG catches any welterweight with some big bombs, the fight could be over as we saw when Brook quit against him. But if Khan catches a GGG on the decline, at a 155 catchweight there's a chance, albeit a slim chance, that he could pull the W out the bag!
I completely agree, but it's a disgusting thought
That couldn't even happen in Khan's dreams, let alone in real life
