Canelo didn't run, win or lose. Sitting on the ropes isn't running. The majority of the fight was in punching range.

I have wathced the fight 5 times..he stood right in front of him most of the fight and even backed GGG up Then you're delusional. GGG only backed up when Canelo threw his counters, and Canelo rarely threw his counters outside the first forty seconds of each round. The greater part of the fight consisted of GGG pressuring Canelo into the ropes and into the corners.

Canelo put on a boxing class. He whooped GGG's ass. GGG has been shown for what he is. He's a brawler with very limited boxing abilities. This has really shown as he's faced competition that can actually box.

If he didn't run why did he throw 200 less punches if they were standing face to face? Why didn't he throw then? you don't get credit for throwing more you get credit for landing the more effective punches. Canelo literally landed more of every punch, power shots, body shots, ect only punch that GGG landed more was jabs. But he also missed more jabs then ever in his career with a career low in connect rate. He missed almost 500 punches another career low. Sure GGG was busy and coming forward but it was totally ineffective pressure even jabs which was literally all he could land most had NO steam behind them they were either grazing and pawing for most of the night. Because when he did try to load up with either a stiff jab or power shot Canelo's defense slipped or picked it off. Saying he ran just because when they were in the pocket or ropes slow azz GGG was unable to land anything significant is just stupid.
