He was not destroyed, nor even hurt, he was not afraid of GGG and showed his talent..Not dropped or anything....All these"OH WILL BE DESTROYED, IS A COWARD ETC ETC" lood ridiculous now..just like the Mattysee sh1t before he fought Garcia..People there are levels in this sport..its like an average AAU player playing in the church league..sure he looks like a killer hitting 30-40 there..but when he goes to AAU nationals he hits 10-12...LEVELS!!!!
angry about what?
That's what I would like to know. Take a look around the forum, why are Floyd fans angry that Canelo didn't get the win? He certainly didn't deserve It.

It's not the people who made outlandish predictions FROM BOTH SIDES, that happens for every fight!! it is a portion of the Canelo fans who called Floyd a RUNNER in their fight and then say Canelo was BOXING BEAUTIFULLY in this fight!!! Thats what fuking chaps my a$$.
I dont have a problem with those who think both box beautifully or both run, but anyone who praises Canelo but puts down Floyd is what I have a problem with. It is some, not all, the Canelo fans who have a double standard for a style to suit their agenda that gets to me. Guys like BUDFR and others made those claims. Even in the Canelo/Floyd fight, Floyd was walking down Canelo at times and some (not all) Canelo fans had the nerve to say Floyd was running.
Yet Canelo does a far less effective job at mixing offense with defense and some say he was boxing beautifully, yet insult Floyd for doing something better than Canelo can dream of doing, right? I will say I saw some Canelo fans who were pissed and said Canelo was running. At least some are consistent. It's wrong to attack a fanbase, just wrong, and thats why I dont do that, but rather to understand that portions of every fanbase obviously apply a double-standard. Also, I look at why a fighter is backing up.
When some fighters do it, it is because they are hurt or discouraged. When Floyd does it, he is neither and in fact uses angles and circles to gain an advantage because he knows how to fight off the ropes and wins fighting off the ropes where as Canelo loses or breaks even fighting off the ropes. So thats what forms the difference between running and boxing beautifully. Or better yet, its the perception of why a fighter is fighting off the back foot, or backing up entirely, because they are afraid, or hurt, or discouraged......or because they are superb at fighting off the ropes.
If a fanbase makes outlandish claims, fine....as long as they are consistent.
Saul "The Gift" Alvarez is not on the same level as Golovkin. I was just proven right last night.
Although I will say, I do respect him. Pulling off a MD against Floyd at only 22 is sensational. Just to have one judge score it for ya at such a green underdeveloped age against prime TBE is something to behold.
you dont seem to know what an MD is.
Are u serious? He said he would stand and fight, he backpeddled and ran basically the entire fight, it wasnt fighting on the back foot most of the time, it was getting out of the way at all costs, the older guy walked and ran him down is what i saw, he landed some nice shots now and then but the impression i got was of someone under pressure and not coping that great, he did pretty good now and then but not a winning performance imo, he got a gift draw. GGG should have gone to the body maybe.
Canelo fights a minute a round at times and thats it for a lot of rounds, not good enough against GGG. I give canelo 4 rounds, 5 if you are being generous to him. Thats boxing, everyone sees it diferently, especially in vegas
lol give me a break, watch canelo's cards, he keeps getting scores that are tooooo wide. plus the guy thinks he won 8 rounds. explain why then when he spoke to kellerman he was being boo'd from all the corners
The boo was for his words saying he won clearly.
Chocolatito González got a card 117-111 vs Cuadras and nobody cried like women like people is doing in this case
Canelo only did enough to survive. In the rounds that he looked good he fought in spots and then ran and got backed into the ropes where he ate punches from GGG. He faded and looked mentally beat. GGG walked through everything Canelo threw. He lost 8-4 just like Lederman called it and got his ass saved by a corrupt judge and system because the younger fighter with the big Mexican fanbase (who booed him) brings more money to the table and will be around after GGG retires. Las Vegas was never going to be the best place for GGG. You could tell from the start that when the Champion with 4 belts against the challenger moving up is the one who gets brought into the ring 1st...that he was not going to get a fair chance. Everything was set up to promote Canelo as the PPV King. Canelo looked out of his league TBH. Canelo is used to dominating...he never came close to that last night. He lost and it was not even close.
Jajajajajajaja
What a stupid post!
It was a super competitive fight and Canelo neutralized Golovkin in a good part of the fight.
He ended the fight too clean of his face and shied great chin and heart.
I would if he fought Golovkin when he was supposed to. He's doing well to follow the Floyd path. Floyd ***gots love cherrypicking homo's. I'm glad Golovkin wasn't too old to lose to Canelo.
Sure, he got my respect. He is an excellent fighter,
much improved in the last 3 years.
he lost though... no shame in losing to gennady.
This is how I see it too. He fought well, tons of courage, he has my respect, he didn't win though.

He didn't, it was a extremely competitive fight
Canelo beat ggg and made him look like a bum.
But canelo haters are strong they will never give him credit even if he stops ggg in the rematch
Wow, must be that there is a ton of ex champions plus current fighters really hate Canelo as practically the entire professional boxing community had Canelo losing.

You said he would have gotten respect if that card wasn't so wide. Again how is that his fault? Does he have el chapo pay off the judges?
I have always respected Canelo. It's GGG that gets unfairly trashed and disrespected on this board far more than Canelo. Canelo put up a good fight but in the eyes of most viewers GGG forced the fight and he beat him. After winning close fights over the 2nd and 3rd best middleweights in the world this BS of GGG never beat anybody good should stop but it probably won't. I said he won both the Jacobs and Canelo fights because getting a draw with Canelo in Vegas is the same as a win and getting a UD win over Jacobs in New York is also a win.
This is common knowledge already. Straight up and down no special effects
41 year old Floyd at 160, I don't think that would be healthy for Floyd at this juncture.
I'm talking about this thread though, not that.
