I know most of us saw that weirdness last night. What was up with Heiland's lower extremity? I really hate that Charlo put in all the work at camp, etc, to show up and find out he had a bummed opponent. How and when did his injury occur? NYSAC should've caught that prior to the fight.
he also was clearly injured in warm ups a day before the fight. This was BS especially since im one of the FEW pol on boxingscene who actually puts their money where their mouth is and makes bets on a fighter im backing
I saw the video....didn't look hurt to me.
I had never seen the guy fight until the Charlo fight. I was like what is wrong with that guy when he was punching. He literally had nothing behind his straight left hand. One of the guys I was watching the fight with thought he had a brain injury that was effecting his motor skills. It was obvious something was wrong with the guy.
I heard about the video and just now watched it. He is clearly favoring his leg. It is very obvious. If you've ever had a leg injury of any type this is how you move.
BTW I don't think it would have mattered, Charlo would have won but what an absolute joke that Heiland was allowed to fight. As I've said and everyone knows the governing bodies are corrupt. They are bad jokes. I don't give an F who they say so and so needs to fight, I'll go with my own opinion.
nobody cares about these crooked abc orgs. heiland not even a top 30 middleweight but the WBC was paid off to rank him number 1 and rank charlo number 2 over much better 160lb fighters. And because the WBC not even on the line for GGG/Canelo that makes that paper belt irrelevant. If GGG wins he is fighting Saunders for the 4th belt and then other mandatories for the rest of the phony abc orgs. Charlo will be last in line. Not to mention if there is a rematch with Canelo that's May 2018 and then Saunders and other mandatories. Charlo could sit waiting with his bogus mandatory status for 1-2 years before he actually get's a fight with GGG. And that's if he doesn't retire or move up to 168 before then. If Canelo wins he has zero obligations to the WBC and that belt becomes vacant and irrelevant. Whoever wins that vacant belt won't be seen as the true champ Canelo would be lineal and unified champ and he'll fight Saunders or whatever big money fight he wants. So have fun jacking off because Charlo is now the number 1 contender because he beat a 1 legged gimp bum for a belt that is meaningless and has very little chance of landing him a actual fight with Canelo or GGG.
In the meantime Charlo stays ducking Jacobs and Lara and is looking in hospitals for the next disabled fighter he can face on somebody else's undercard.
Saunders is a ****en bum. And I don't know why you hate Charlo. He didn't injure Heiland and when has Charlo ducked Lara or Jacobs because this is news to me?
Charlo won the eliminator...now the WBC champ has to fight him :bottle:

Good job? Heiland was badly injured before the fight, how did they even let him fight is the question? Thats embarrassing.
Here you can clearly see that he was stumbling around at the weigh in and was held up by his own trainer several times.
yup clearly he was 100% and just got injured in the ring. LMAO at Kigali
I saw the video....didn't look hurt to me.
You a joke and a coward just like the charlos. Ran from the boards for a week after Broner got beat rather then be a man and show your self and take your medicine. No respect for a loser like you. Even the biggest of Charlo fans after seeing the video admit he was injured let alone the fact that he tried to enter the ring with a wrap on the bum knee and the commission told him he had to take it off. He had torn ligaments in his knee.
You entering Paulie Malignaggi level where you just can't take your L like man.
It don't matter charlo would have still koed him
I don't agree with that at all. His balance was all messed up. It out him out of position and squared him up over and over.
WBC and the commission have a lot of questions to answer. This bum should of never been ranked in the first place and folks need to keep asking the WBC how a guy who's last 2 opponents each had 18 losses. Over the last 3 years 4 of his 6 opponents had 13 or more losses. Hes nowhere on any of the credible top 10 middleweight rankings but mysteriously he is number 1 ranked by WBC over world ranked fighters. Mandated to fight for a eliminator against a guy whos never fought at 160 and held no WBC belt at 154. Somebody was paid off for those rankings it's that simple. The fact that heiland was also injured before the fight and still sanctioned is serious problem. the weighin with him limping prove it as well as the fact he had a wrap over the bum knee and was told to remove it before the fight.
Charlo is a good fighter and will be dangerous for anyone at 160lbs. That said he has no business in a title fight yet. What a joke, he beat a middle tier MW and is in line for the title. I don't see any chance that Golovkin or Canelo fight him yet. Of course you'll hear the argument they are running but he just doesn't deserve that chance yet and commercially he doesn't warrant that fight just yet. He needs to beat someone with a pulse, (Jacobs, Lemieux, Andy Lee)
he turned up injured, got hurt, but likely has all his facilities now and got paid.
if he didnt fight, no pay. kind of cr4p really.
I guess there is a report that he has torn ligaments in his knee. Clearly had the injury before the fight and showed up just for the paycheck and lied to everyone or was pressured/hidden by the promoter, WBC, Network, Commission, ect that all had a lot at stake with this fight going as schedule. It's about as shameful as you can get that this fight was allowed to take place.
This was posted on July 26th which already shows he was injured

More media needs to call this BS out instead of cover up for the commission, corrupt WBC, and the promoters that were complicit in this farce. This bum should of never been given the spot let alone allowed to enter the ring.
His left hand might have also been injured. Noticed he wasn't throwing the left with any power, kind of just swinging it. It wasn't just that he wasn't able to push off with his leg, it looked like he just couldn't throw it.

Yeah somebody pointed out there appears to be something wrong with his hand and arm as well. This fight reeks this dude should of never been mandated let alone physically cleared to fight. I hope investigations are done into the WBC and commission but you already see everyone is lying and covering their tracks. Black eye for boxing.

That's really bad.....2 out of 4 extremities is beyond injured...hell he should've been on bed rest!
