I saw Canelo in San Antonio against Trout. Terence Crawford vs Alejandro Sanabria in Dallas back when he was still a prospect. That was on the undercard of Mikey Garcia vs JuanMa, so obviously I saw Mikey as well. I saw Donaire versus Arce in Houston. If y'all recall, Rigondeaux was on the undercard but his fight got cancelled because the other dude tested HIV positive. So while I didn't see him fight live -- I amazingly by coincidence sat from him two tables away at the bar/restaurant that was in the arena. He was eating some nachos and I swear he must've gotten hit up for an autograph or a picture at least 25 times while he was eating. Maybe more, lol. I didn't even notice him there until I started to see all the people flock to him for photos. Oh yeah, and Omar Figueroa who was on the undercard of Canelo/Trout.
How about you guys
I saw Audley A-Force Harrison at the 2000 olympics in sydney. He won the superheavyweight gold and broke the italian dudes nose. I was sure he was going to be a world beater....what a let down his career became.
In seriousness:
Frampton-quigg
Joshua-Martin
Groves-Rebrasse
Crolla-Barosso (that was epic)
Hearn undercards so you go to a couple and you see pretty much his whole stable. He does the events right though!
I seen the legendary Wilfredo Vasquez Jr aka WV2 when he was undefeated and had the wbo belt. I saw his father because he was in his corner. I saw the great McJoe and McWilliam twins since they fought on the undercard. I got to meet Macho Camacho in 2000 and took a picture with him as a kid in the PuertoRico airport.
Well yes I have seen the mandingo show live and it is quite riveting I must say
But I have also seen those boxers that I mentioned in addition to the great mandingo
What was the best part?
While I never saw them fight, I used to call into Pedro Fernandez's late night boxing radio show. I talked to Orlando Canizales and Michael Carbajal over the phone. I cracked Michael up, but Orlando took offense. He said Duran should retire at the time and then I said there were probably people saying Orlando should retire and then Pedro said I was telling him to retire which I wasn't. Then he cut me off. Was pretty funny really. Orlando also lost his next fight. Haha.
Haven't heard that name in a looooooooooong time.
I remember that guy being almost an Alex Jones of boxing type weirdo.
I don't know if that answers the question, Mike. I got side tracked thinking about a giant, droopy teat that squirts some lumpy, chunky milk. Dunno why.

It was a lot of fun seeing them and the whole little HBO set-up with Lampley and Larry Merchant there. They were talking on this platform way away from the ring early on and then they were ringside of course. It was a neat experience.
Yeah I wasn't far from where Lamps/Roy/Merchant were at the Donaire/Arce fight. In fact it was Merchant's last fight. I also the Showtime crew (albeit from pretty far away) when I was at the Canelo fight in San Antonio
Cotto and Pacquiao are the stand outs for me. Seen Chavez Jr also.
Then it's mostly British guys : Bellew, Crolla, the 4 Smith brothers, Cleverly, DeGale, Billy Joe Saunders, Khan, Oh also Barrera (well past prime). Brook, Macklin, Burns, Mitchell.
You are a liar and a ***. Theo nly thing you've seen live is the mandingo show

Golovkin
David Lemieux
Daniel Geale
Hopkins
Kovalev
Peter Quillin
Gabriel Rosado
Deontay Wilder
Matthysse
Lamont Peterson
Devon Alexander
Shawn Porter
Bryant Jennings
Mike Perez
Luis Ortiz
Joshua Clottey
Nicholas Walters
Maybe more . .

Notable? Of the bat:
Greg Haugen, Jørgen Hansen, Mikkel Kessler, Carl Froch, Arthur Abraham, Jürgen Brähmer, Kubrat Pulev, Tony Thompson, Cecilia Brækhus, Andy Lee.
When Floyd was here in South Africa, he toured the country and went to Johannesburg, Pretoria, Robben Island, doing touristy sh*t, and giving bullsh*t speeches. Talking about it "being a dream come true" to visit South Africa and sh*t.
Of course, I stayed at home and saw him briefly on the news. I love Floyd, and he's my favourite boxer of all time, but why would I pay money for traveling expenses and accommodation, just to see Floyd NOT fight. He didn't even hold a workout or anything. His head just glistened in the South African sun as he stayed here for six days.
So I said fvck that.
I don't know if that answers the question, Mike. I got side tracked thinking about a giant, droopy teat that squirts some lumpy, chunky milk. Dunno why.
I haven't been to a fight in 5 years so not many cats lately, but I've seen Leon Spinks, Michael Carbajal, Evander Holyfield (hanging out watching a fight), Alex Stewart, Andrew Golota in the Chicago area when I lived there. HW title challengers Fres Oquendo & Vaughn Bean won the Chicago Golden Gloves the same year as the first show I ever attended after winning tickets for knowing Jersey Joe Walcott's real name.
Saw Rigo in Vegas & one of my biggest boxing disappoints is not going to Vegas to see Corrales vs Castillo I which I knew was gonna be a good fight (not great I'm not Nostradumas) & Diego was one of my all time favorite fighters & I wish I could've added him to the list.
Growing up in Michigan I saw Floyd + Andre & Anthony Dirrell as amateurs. Seen Chris Byrd at shows (his dad Joe too, who's notable to me as a top MI trainer along with Kenny Lane who got many kids deep in the golden gloves & fought for the lightweight title when there was just 1 title & being champion meant something). Thats all I can recall off the top of my head.
That is so awesome. I'm a huge fan of the Spinks brothers and Holyfield. I was just thinking about being at Corrales and Castillo as well.
I had the chance to meet Alexis Arguello and Carlos Palomino. My uncle was billed with them in a combat adventure movie. But Mr. Arguello was in his dressing room doing his thing. I saw Mr. Palomino but I think some movie thing was going on so I never got to meet him. Plus, I wanted to go with my uncle to his dressing room so we could...
My father did get to meet Muhammad Ali. He was good friends with the fight doctor in Hawaii, so when Ali came to Hawaii to try to get his license, he called my dad so he could meet him as well. He was super excited later when he told me about it. :)
