As a boxing pioneer....First he made random drug testing a norm in boxing. Then he took the financial game of boxing to historic levels..Now with a win against McGreggor he will have proved boxing as superior by beating the face of the UFC hopefully in easy fashion...
All those who dismiss boxing will have to pay respect to this sport and Floyd will be immortalized...Like it or not Floyd is carving his name deeper in the veins of this sport.
This may even start a boxing vs UFC type thing with huge cross over promotions...
It would add to boxing in terms of exposure to a wider new audience, but this fight is purely for the money. Legacy wise, it's meaningless. If he loses, damn (legacy tarnished). Anything is possible.

Amen to that!

As a boxing fan, I feel this tarnishes his legacy. He could have gotten his 50-0 fighting someone like Spence, Thurman, Bradley, Broner, or even a rematch with Pacquiao. Or even have Crawford move up to 147 and fight him since he is still a little green like he did with Canelo. Spence and Thurman would be the only threats out of of all of them, but I can see Floyd still gettting the W. And as if his last opposition wasn't bad enough (Berto), he is now going to get his 50 - 0 by fighting a guy with a 0-0 record and has no chance to win...
Perfection.
I'm sure Floyd can find better ways to celebrate than stapling himself, stapling yourself would hurt like a muthaphucka
Nah, he's absolutely right. Floyd will staple himself with a diamond piercing over his belly button after the fight.
Larry's daily mayweather thread.
We know he is one of the best now stfu. You're a f*cking troll and it's f*cking annoying. Get a life.
there are threads made about mayweather daily, half of them have nothing to do with boxing, I don't see u there complaining

You have not been opened minded. Everyone who has seen Conor spar are acting like they seen something very different from what other boxers do. I dont think Conor is going to fight like he did in MMA where he got tagged and what not.
I think he is going to be extremely athletic, and doing weird things that will catch Floyd by surprise. I dont think he is going to be flatfooted, and squared up and easy to hit. I looked at one of his sparring partners https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6MOckjOemYw
Pac sparred him as well, and yes Pac lost. But thing is, Floyd comes out and mesmirizes you with his speed and reflexes. Deshun is NOT FLOYD, but he is GREAT to prepare you for that athleticism.
The key, is for Floyd to hit Conor everytime he is open. But I dont know if Floyd will do that. Floyd will see him doing weird things, and movements, and he may freeze in his place, giving Conor the chance to land some stuff.
Everyone talking like Conor is doing some great things that are unseen. I watched Joe Cortez interview on Helen Yee, and he talked like he was shocked. They all secretly think that the fight is going to be interesting.
Open your mind before its too late, from one fellow Floyd fan to the next
The more I get to know you, the more surprised I get..
LMAOOOOOoooooo
had to be you of all people that commented on this post.. I regretted it as soon as I saw your name in the notifications
I have actually stapled myself on one occasion. Hurt like a b1tch but the pain didn't last too long fortunately

This will be as important for boxing as Ali-Inoki was for MMA. I circus show that wont help boxing as all. Huge mismatch aswell.
That being said Im looking forward to the fight.

The thing is though Floyd will just 12-0 him like he did to Canelo.
On the other hand Canelo or GGG would literally murder Conor making an even bigger and more exciting statement!

Oh my god you're making me laugh so hard ahahaha
I'm gonna be nice to you because you've given me some entertainment :)
