I don't think pacquiao trained for this fight the way he's supposed to be training, he said it himself that he fought it would be an easy fight, I think with a determined training camp he will knock out horn in the rematch..his speed is still there it's just that he looked gassed..in the 9th he couldn't finish him because he looked gassed..he needs to get back his killer instinct and start training seriously..he's been caught up in bull*** besides boxing which made him lose interest and determination.
Pac is 38 years old fighting a guy 3 inches taller than him..
Honestly I'm tired of fools who bought into Floyds gimmick..
Pac at 38 yrs old continues to beat younger bigger fighters.
$#/k the haters.
Really truth is he used Steroids to beat Hatton no way is Horn better Hatton not in a millon years
Pac just got rough housed and bullied by a young and inexperienced fighter. I think this torpedoes his legacy. Shouldn't matter if he was past his prime. Mayweather was past his prime when he easily handled Berto. Pac was an ATG, he was supposed to be levels above Horn. The age excuse is lame as hell.
That's how a fighter's greatness is measured really. Way too many fighters hang around too long and take bad losses to measure every fighter's entire career in relation to their legacy. Guys like mayweather retiring at the right time are extremely rare.
Explaining how prime years work to someone who doesn't understand is waste of time because they can not comprehend something so simple.
A fighter's greatness is based on who their opponents were and if the opponents were in their prime.

I think everyone's different. Some guys are out of their prime by 30.
What will people say was Manny's single greatest win? For me, probably Barrera I even though some will say he was already out of his prime. The Cotto fight was up there too even though Cotto had a lot of trouble making the catch weight. He showed he could take Cotto's best shot which was incredible.
This prime sh1t is hilarious. Only in boxing smh. Prime this prime that.

He won 7 of those 10 fights. Lost to Morales. Loss and draw with Marquez.
Manny had a great career, no doubt. Very few win them all.
Yes, my mistake. I forgot that the first Marquez fight was a draw.
And add to that, all of those HOF were on the top of their game when PAcquiao beat him.
Dont forget they beat Pacquiao too lol
And what's your definition of prime?
That's one hell of a resume. He won 8 out of those 10 fights.

^^add Cotto and that's basically his resume...mind you he didn't win all of those fights.

Anyone, I don't care who It Is , who fights Marquez(HOF fighter) 4 times, Barrera(HOF fighter) 2 times and Morales(HOF fighter) 3 times Is far from over rated.

His wins, titles and performances still outweigh his losses - after the marquez ko it wasn't really the pacquiao we knew, it was more like a pacquiao lite, but before then he was astounding and you can't just erase all that because of losses
By your criteria Tyson would be GOAT. Boxing is a marathon not a sprint son
Pacquaio had a chance to be a top 10 all time fighter. Then Marquez put him to sleep, Mayweather schooled him, and now Horn beats him. Basically he's a top 50 all time guy who did his best work at lighter weights.
And this is as honest as it gets...boxing is a marathon not a sprint. Every fight counts. You're discrediting the other fighter by saying it doesnt
My wife was calming me down because of how red I was in screaming.....lol
I think this is how Ricky Hatton should have fought Pacquiao yet the problem was Pacquiao was in his prime back there, so it was so easy for him to do everything he does, and now that he is shot Horn could do things Hatton didn't against a Prime Pacquiao.
lol, at least you were able to calm down.
The Pacquiao of 2009-2010 was pretty much unstoppable. Hatton tried coming forward and being the aggressor but at that stage of Pacquiao's career being the aggressor was a mistake and he made you pay for It.
At 38 he just doesn't have the stamina to fight like that.
