When AJ first turned over there was this image of him being a bit sanitised. But the man has been involved in so many interviews now in different settings that not once have I seen him come across as anything other than a good lad and now he is relaxed and the dude is just quite funny.
I actually find him more relatable than any boxer out there. Just because he doesn't take himself seriously. Tyson Fury is similar and that fight will just mesh well and it wont be because AJ will play the nice guy. AJ is witty too he won't ever be deadpan like Wlad they will play of each other.
'Everyone has that Nigerian mate Olefunke or Ayo from college.'
lol. I dunno if AJs humour would translate necessary across the pond but he's funny and just seem real. It is why he is a big star in the UK now not necessarily just his boxing.
AJ has a better personality as way more intelligent than most people give him credit for. He really showed his smarts and personality when he was talking with the boxing commentators ringside at the Haye-Bellew fight. Very likable guy.
I dont give a f*ck if he's funny.. I don't watch him to make me laugh. Plenty of comedians out there I can watch, I watch AJ to see him knock out muthaf*ckers.
This nonsense of him fighting twice a year before he's even hit his prime is silly.. I want to see him fight at least 3 times a year.. But it won't happen, he's become too big and superstardom and fame brings other commitments.
But yea he is a chill dude, at first I thought he was emotionless and boring but seeing his latest sky interview and his appearances on chat shows.. He's still coming across very likable. And I'm not just saying that because he's black.. I have a friend who's black. Lol
I think that's it my expectations when he first started that he would just be a bit boring but do the job in the ring.
And I know it ain't strictly boxing but because he is engaging outside the ring he has become that crossover star and tbh if he was loses it isn't really gonna effect his stock to much. Where if he was boring and or monosyllabic his career would take a nosedive the first time he got beat. And he's a heavyweight. He's gonna get beat at some point they all do. Marciano aside.

Lol yeah I like Joshua quite a bit. I'm American but I like a good amount of British humor. Well I love comedy in general so any boxer that is funny I'm usually a fan of.
