WTF are you talking about? Haymon owns most of the talent, especially at 147. For years he didn't allow his best to fight one another. Now that he has lost half a billion dollars, he has no choice but to make the fights fans want to see. He wants it all on his terms and he is getting schooled by other promoters who are showing him how this business works. No. Haymon simply run out of cab drivers for his top fighters. Who would have thought Bundu existed for Thurman when Alexander was available at that time? Or the taxi driver who upset Guerrero? Who recognized Salka? Etc. So his top fighters have nowhere else to go but fight each other. Lara I think can't duck Andrade. I don't see another Foreman popping up anytime soon.

This focker won't allow good fights to happen because he doesn't want Haymon to take over. He knows that if he let's Haymon take the thunder off of Crawford or Pacquiao he's done for. Op makes a great point. Thanks for the support. It's very clear what's going on here. Crawford explicitly called out Thurman, but ARUM of all peoples came out to call off the fight and say that it isn't happening soon. Arum only has 3 blue chips at the moment, and that is Crawford, Lomachenko and Pacquiao. All these fighters with the exception of Lomachenko have been challenged by Haymon fighters. But Arum won't entertain any of these fights, and it makes perfect sense. He's trying everything he can to preserve them, hence why we're getting Pacquiao vs Horn and there are no talks of unification since Haymon has pretty much monopolized the division. Perfectly understanble from a business standpoint, but sh1tty from a boxing fan's.

Exactly people just knew Loma as a good amateur fighter who already had a loss in his first 2 fights. Haymon was probably trying to show off Russell as a fighter who could take on the top amateur elites. Come on, do you really think Haymon didn't know what he was looking at? Lomachenko was a risky fight, and he ended up losing his bet. But Haymon, unlike Arum, can actually afford to lose one of his chips.
