I am doing a poll to see which fight people would be willing to pay for. I am not going to put a penny towards McGregor vs Mayweather. I'll watch that sideshow on Parascope. I plan on being in the building when GGG exposes Canelo. That's where my money is going, GGG vs Canelo. Which fight would you pay for if you can only pay for 1?
I am asking this poll question because Floyd seems to think he owns the May and September dates, but I beg to differ. That's what this poll is for, to see what others think.
I'm a boxing fan. There's nothing wrong with Mayweather fighting McGregor I'm sure it will be profitable, but whatever that is, it's not boxing and I'm not interested.
You ask the difference between theater and real fight. If i want to watch some theatre, i can go artistic theater. Im not rich enough to pay for Floyd's nonsense.
As lame as the floyd McGregor fight is, it will do huge numbers because there are more suckers than hardcore fight fans. Many random people who know nothing about boxing are asking me about the Floyd McGregor fight. It's going to do big money. Won't be mine though
I am going to enjoy seeing McGregor slapped silly like Gatti but the real fight I'm looking forward to is Canelo-GGG. Too many question marks around that fight whereas Mayweather-McGregor is a foregone conclusion.
Fuk what anyone else thinks, I would for sure pay for Mayweather McGregor over the other fight. Wouldn't even have a problem watching it onyoutube the day after. I'm stream team 4 life as it is.
But there's no way I'm missing a McGregor fight for nothing.
floyd vs. mcnugget is only a joke to us hardcore boxing fans. of course we'll pay for ggg vs. canelo. but if ESPN puts this poll on their main page.. floyd vs. mcnugget wins by a landslide. that fight has crossover appeal. it will get way more media coverage and free promotion. it can easily knock canelo off september. we have to remember ggg isn't really a household name yet. mcnugget vs. any name in the UFC is doing 1 million buys constantly. the guy is a major attraction. thats why floyd says he makes sense. floyds needs big names to sell.
and if they actually manage to get AJ on the card forget about it.. ggg vs. canelo becomes an afterthought.
This is such an unusual thread, most people who are always arguing against each other are all in agreement, except larry and lil Robbie of course, I'm guessing they're the 2 voting for floyd, who'd have guessed eh
Mayweather vs Mcgregor does nothing but damage boxing even more. Floyd is most likely going to bore the **** out of everyone and sink boxing even deeper.
He'll most likely take Conor to a 12 round pitty patty boring ass decision. It would be embarrassing for boxing.
I never buy fights. I watch them for free a week later on channels I already pay for. If the only way I could ever see the fight was to buy it then I would buy Canelo vs GGG. That should be real war between two warriors who come to fight. Why anybody would pay money to see Mayweather slaughter Conor makes no sense to me. That isn't really a fight. That's a mismatch and a circus act.
floyd vs mac gregor is some lollipop sh1t..total garbage , worst fight in the history of boxing..
hell, shaq vs delahoya was way more credible than this bull***** fight
Easily canelo-ggg, but it doesn't matter.
May-Mac is marketed towards casuals, and newsflash, there's a lot more of them than there is hardcores. Canelo-GGG is a great fight (hopefully), while May-Mac is a great event.
Im paying for GGG vs canelo all day. Im a floyd fan but im watching a competitive boxing fight over a freak show sparring session. I wouldnt even pay for that period.
