this is true.. but all fan bases do it. floyd fans wanted berto to beat porter to erase the negativity around the floyd-berto fight. lil g fans want kovalev to beat ward because ward exposed their hero as a fraud. pac fans abandoned him after floyd beat him and overnight became lil g fans. fans jump ship all the time. and canelo beating lil g enhances floyds legacy. same as if barrera beats stevenson it makes ward look good. your avi is golden...bwhaahhahha

In contrast, here they are the entire Floyd fanbase is rock solid in hating on GGG. It's like an entire island's name was just renamed. Same population, same hating philosophy. Alvarez fought Trout, Floyd, Lara, Cotto, and Chavez Jr, among other quality fighters, and performed really well in basically all of the fights. Beyond the hype that he got for being a red-headed Mexican fighter, he finally showed real ability behind the hype, and the fans came with that. hate if you want

This is truly ironic coming from the Pac>Donaire>Matthysse>Pac>GGG>Every Eastern Euro fighter ever bandwagon. At least Floyd fans haven't had to jump ship like rats every few months for years.
