Brook trainer talking about injuries, how he was nearly blinded.

It blows me away that people point to this as evidence Golovkin is slowing down or exposed. Sure! you can exchange with Golovkin! As long as you don't mind going blind!
he got hit 175 times in 12 rounds..thats master class defense?
the thing about a pale face is that u can tell the actual damage by the marks. GGG got marked up by ouma. He was unmarked against Jacobs.
And jacobs punch much harder than ouma.
so i know most of those counted punches were blocked or missed.
And to think people actually believe the stuff they post when they say "Brook whooped his ass". If Brook's corner didn't toss in the towel when they did, GGG would have likely ended his career for good.
And this is one of the two fights to suggest that GGG is fading.
Exactly. And at the end of the fight Golovkin smirked about his own performance a bit. Golovkin ended the fight when he felt like ending it. Brook had no shot and as you said he's very fortunate he had a corner that protected him from serious injury.
His eye was dropping.
Grizzly injury tbh.
Brook dabbed at that thing for about 3 rounds. And on here you'll likely get some fat jerk in his underpants criticising people for 'quitting'.
lol next fight, Golovkin showed master class defense moving forward on a puncher and comfortably outboxed him to a decision with a KD. now he's slowing down.
haha that's like Mayweather's entire career.

Did i say he wasn't good? Not AS good. He's not an ATG or a top 5 P4P fighter.
Who does he have to beat ? for instance if Ward beats Kovalev clearly he is for a top P4P fighter , i dont like him but im fair , if Spence beats Brook he is the top WW with Thurman ( i actually like Spence :) ) , and so on.
Some of the haters are just bashing him his team his fans but give 0 reasons why he cant be ATG , for them he will never be which seems weird to me thats all , of course if he moved up and cleaned another division out he will be ATG but not many are able to do it in the heavier weight divisions (far easier for the smaller guys) thats why Ward get tons of credit if he can take out Kovalev again.
So does a win vs Saul is enough for you to say he is an elite MW ? or this is going to be a "MW have no talent balbalbal" kind of reasoning ? notice for example the HW division , once WK lost after a decade the division is hot again , its only hot because he lost and its unclear who is the top dog again , for GGG its the same he is the undisputed MW king so until he loses no one else can come in and shine.
for me a decisive win vs Canelo is enough to make him an Elite MW and ATG candidate as its on the back of Jacobs win + of course all the title fights and he is still going at it , cheers.
Suggests he was never as good as his nuthuggers say he is.
Who does he have to beat to be considered good then ? will canelo be enough ? or he is too small?

Exactly. These retards think Brook having an injured eye is an amazing achievement and proof of Golovkins godly power. :lol1:
Retards? Let me guess, you are between 13 and 18 years of age..Look,he did broke the guys eye and got the KO,it is no secret GGG does have power ,ask Curtis..But you guy sound like lemiux,he said he and GGG have unfinished business and for the life of me I cant understand how he came about, meaning, neither one of you makes any sense.I am willing to make a small bet that if GGG wins against Canelo you still will come up with something and if Canelo wins you'll say "I told you he was overrated"/
Re-watch the fight man, the success Jacobs had was when ggg pulled that left hand back whether he was countering G's 1 or 3. I think most people were fixated on GGG's compubox jabs count when his straight 2 and double 2 were VERY successful in implementing his attack on a tall fighter that tried to use every inch of it.
Which brings me to Jacobs gameplan, it was kinda wack, they wanted him to pull back using his height which took away speed and power.
Dont get me wrong I had GGG winning by 1pt (the KD) clearly defined the win in my eyes.
wrong. success jacobs had were flashy shoe shining combos that hit his arms n elbows.
if jacobs did counter successfully like ouma, who he was actually marked up against. ggg would have been more marked up especially on the left side. jacos don't punch as hard as ouma?
hes face is pale easy to see the evidence.
if he brought his jab back real slow and he threw that many jabs, why couldn't jacobs counter his jab?
straight logic. why was his face unmarked at the end of the fight against an 90% ko ratio offensive juggernaut like Jacobs?

If you havent noticed the handspeed decline, you truly are blinded with fanboyism. GGG's handspeed took a sharp decline and his last 2 fights proved it. He brings back his jab real real slow now. But hes what 36? It was bound to happen, it happens to all men when they hit their mid 30's.
I am in no way shape or form saying he will lose to Canelo BUT if he does, the handspeed with DEFINITELY be Canelos key to victory.
