I wouldn't be so sure G man is 100% going to win. He's not exactly young and in his prime. He walks flat footed more and more. His weakness at this point in his life is a very skillful boxer. Canelo has it in him to be a good boxer. He has YOUNG legs and is "shifty". Personally don't think Canelo can take a punch from G AND not go into the "OH $H1T" mode, but we will find out.

It should be a great fight between my two favorite boxers. It would be embarassing to leave GGG out of the top 10 if he beats Canelo. That's a big dam win.

A win Canelo for me move him into the top four, maybe even fifth behind Ward, Lomachenko, Crawford and possibly Kovalev depending how June plays out.

Wins over Canelo and Jacobs in a calendar year puts him as the foty at the very least. You can also make the argument for p4p.

im a big fan of kovalev but his CV is actually pretty thin when you think about it. never understood why that fight was put on such a pedestal and i said that before the fight. and he wasnt universally respected until ward beat him lol, i remember lots of people were saying he was exposed by chilemba. lots of people thought it would be a near on shut out for ward or kovalev would land a big shot. pretty much got given a punchers chance.
