Things got good when Floyd retired and the power was taken out of Haymons hands.
Pretty sure it was when Floyd retired that people were blaming Al Haymon at an all time high.
Point is, people are stupid.
I hope we are seeing a change in boxing, where the big fights are being made.
I can see the TV networks starting to clamp down on showing fights nobody wants to see and basically make fighters fight good opposition if they want paying, or don't fight on TV. I hope this is the case. Good fights could be made if they don't waste their money showing main event fights nobody is that interested in. Money talks at the end of the day and networks can start to force the hand of the fighters and promoters to start making good fights if they want paying well.
I do believe that little by little it's improving in that sense.
GGG fighting Kov before Canelo?
GGG is wise to stay at 160, nothing but losses for him at 168 and 175. He's been managed well.
The real men fight each other next month, prepared to move up to pursue real fights and challenges to establish themselves multi weight champions.
