Agreed, may the best man win. Wish there was a sub-forum where those of us who aren't emotionally invested in either fighter can just have a normal discussion about this one. Every thread is either, "Canelo is trash!" or "GGG will face the reckoning!" This place is going to be unbearable for the next few months. :lol1: Lol yeah pretty much this. Im not a fan of either but still im excited for this one. I think alot of people are counting Canelo out a little too fast. The guy has skill. Can he take GGG hard jab and power... Lets see...

The excuses will ALWAYS he there! Remember when people said Floyd would never face a young lion like Canelo and then as soon as the fight ended, they said Canelo was too green? It doesnt matter who wins, there will be excuses already to go for the losing fighter. The more things stay the same the more they will stay the same.

Am so glad the fight is so close. The Brook - Spence fight looked like it would NOT happen but we have that fight happening in less than 3 weeks.

I like that Golovkin admitted Canelo would be the toughest challenge he's faced and said it was a good performance. You don't rain on a man's parade immediately after a win (e.g. Fury slagging Wilder). GGG is pure class.

I imagine the first thread if GGG or Canelo wins being: "Is Golovkin the GOAT?" or "Is Floyd true TBE because 'Nelo > ggg?"

Obviously I wasn't here then, but my assumption would have been that it would have peaked lead in up to the Floyd-Manny fight, with the size of those two fanbases and their 'love' for one another I just think its going to be Troll City around here.
