Yeah that uppercut was a big like Lewis vs Vitali .. epic!
I think although Joshua showed a lot of weaknesses and vulnerabilities, I think the main one was Stamina/Nerves - these can only really be improved by experience so hopefully he learns from it.
He can't change his body shape or his style at this age, but he can tweak bits and pieces i guess, along with not bulking up so much. Relying on your power to eventually catch the opponent, although not un-heavyweight like, will definitely get you defeated sooner or later.
And the script still has that AJ still has a lot of questions about him... Stamina, movement, chin, etc...
That felt like 4 fights in one and he better have learnt from those experiences.
The stoppage was a little premature but considering Wlad was KD'd twice in that round and wasn't throwing back, you could understand the ref.
The point is to stop the fight before they get seriously injured. He had nothing left to give and it was only a matter of time until he yook an unnecessary punch.
this is how fighters seriously get brain damage or even die in the ring. we are looking at wlad who has nothing left. i mean nothing. the guy had it all beaten out of him and he's stumbling around in risk of being seriously hurt the way joshua was bombing uppercuts. wlad himself didn't complain against the stoppage. but people are saying early stoppage? seriously how u get a fighter killed in the ring.
wlad really wasnt taking any shots when the ref stopped it, yeah he wasnt throwing back but nothing was landing. bad stoppage on the ref's part
you're on drugs man...wlad before that had his head almost decapitated from his shoulders and was in serious threat of being hurt. even wlad himself didn't argue against it because he had nothing left. ref stops it.

That's how I saw it, but I don't think Wladimir or his corner protested the stoppage.
yeah wlad was still very hurt from the last time he was dropped, so he likely would have been stopped that round but should have been given the chance, i think they know that so thats why they didnt protest
This win took incredible balls and guts. I thought he was done after the KD. Very few men could have gotten up from that monster Steelhammer that WK landed. Fantastic fight to reinvigorate the HW division
