Actually surprised at how 'thin' he looks there. He was obese in some photos. Looks like he's gotten closer to just a large man with a potbelly.
He has always blown-up in between fights...albeit this time much more. But at the moment he looks his normal fat in between fight weight TBH. I don't think he will have any problem getting back to his normal fighting weight...he's still a young guy. He will always have some mental issues but I think he will make a comeback and probably beat both Wilder and Joshua as long as he keeps his head on straight. He said he was suicidal not too long ago so who knows with him. In many ways he's reminds me of Mike Tyson when he was on his self-destruction path. But he seems to be committed to a comeback now...well at least for now anyways.
I cant speak for that massive gain of weight, but I competed at 69kg (welterweight) in the amateurs and had no problems staying around that weight.
But then I travelled in south east asia for 1 month, no workout, no weight control, super delicious (although healthy) food, good amount of beer and I gained 10 kg through one month lol.
Factor in a depression and I can imagine how he gained so much weight.
Yeah, I get it. I have no idea what it's like to go through the emotional rollercoaster Tyson has been through. Also, good food, beer and no exercise will do it. I've been there before, but I've been fortunate to bounce back to a good weight quickly.
Fury looking sharp, i'd pick him over that bum Wilder right now, let alone when he's in shape.
Well said.
When you're a once in a millennia talent, even out of shape you can box anyone's ears off.
This is not a knock on Tyson specifically, as I know he has been through a lot, but how can fighters let themselves go so much? It's ridiculous, there's no excuse. I like to eat, I go through stressful situations and later binge while vacationing, but I've never gotten fat. I've gained weight and lost it sure, but I, not being a fighter or pro athlete, have successfully avoided getting fat.
And it's not me having a fantastic metabolism where I can eat nothing but junk to my hearts desire and stay skinny. I just exercise regularly and if I see myself gaining weight I slow down with the gluttony.
It's not rocket science, and it's not impossibility difficult either. Professionals should not ler their bodies go through these extreme and unhealthy fluctuations in weight.

Get ready, the match you've all been waiting for is coming July 8th on the Saunders/Khurtisdze undercard. It's Tyson Fury vs John McDermott 3!! Just hope the ring doesn't break when they both get in

Can't believe how fat he is.
He can come back but it's going to be a tough road. Luckily he's still young.
He needs to probably lose 40-50lbs, the way when he was active and cutting back on weight it didn't really appear to me that he is doing it in a smart/healthy manner.
It really is sad that Fury fooled everyone for a year with this Klitschko rematch, he had the chance to prove to us it wasn't a fluke and Wladimir didn't have an off night, but he opted to snort coke, eat all sorts of crap, and feel sorry for himself instead.
Just imagine If he did beat Wladimir in a rematch, right now in this weekend we could have been looking at Fury Vs. AJ, but we're not and it's all Fury's fault.
He looked quite sharp.
As fat as he is I bet he can't lose that weight reasonably quickly. It is like when you have those weight loss shows for obese people - the fattest lad loses the most weight quickly.
We used to have a fat old dog, verging on morbidly obese because we fed him so much of our leftovers. And he could still fight like in his young slimmer days.......for precisely 5 seconds. Then he was absolutely fecked up and panting like tyson fury when he sees the ice cream man
Lmfao, dude will have slept for 12 solid hours after those 90 seconds blowing out of his ass.
What a horrible disgusting bastard, without his favoured PED's he ain't never getting in shape.
