Mikey stops him in later rounds.. Linares will have his good moments in the fight but Mikey will cut the ring off, apply pressure and stop him in the end..
This is the kind of fight that the true hardcores love to jump on.. boxing no longer gets me too excited but this one i can get up for..
Linares vs garcia/Loma is all mouth watering ..
Fuc a GGG.
Linares might outbox Garcia on his backfoot but will get caught, the question is will he survive all 12 rounds, if he survives he wins a close fight, if not, he obviously loses.
Outbox... come on bruh mikey would outbox him with his eyes closed.

Mikey should be the favorite in the money-line but inconsistencies in meaningful world title fights are valuable elements in assessing this match: Garcia lost his featherweight title on the scales vs. Juanma, dropped by Rocky Martinez ; Salido broke his nose : a pattern that just recently came to an end with Dejan Zlaticanin for the WBC lightweight title but I'm skeptical because given Zlaticanin style the outcome was expected. If this fight is made does anyone feel confident with the rounds Mikey got from Zlaticanin? also hes fought a total of eight rounds since his return . I think Linares comes in sharper with this crowd tonight vs. Crolla surely it will help in a greater platform in Vegas.
Garcia is no Crolla and his hands should have effect on Linares and should slow him down a bit and his fragile chin vs. a younger skilled puncher is a detriment and more so as the damage set in later down the road.
Linares has never been outclassed and only lost by TKO and that I'm sure is the pick by most based off history and style of opponent. I picked Linares off momentum experience, class; speed and a slight edge in going twelve for the second time in his career which is more than Mikey has gone that along with the lack of rounds. I feel Linares is peaked but I'm not sure where Garcia is right now. If I had to put money on it I go with Garcia but my intuition goes with Linares.
I like Mikey by mid to late rounds stoppage in a high-level and competitive fight.
Mikey has fought a lot of fighters with roughly the same fighting style. Linares would be a more difficult style matchup for him with his handspeed and movement. Burgos managed to make Mikey lead and frustrate him a little bit. I know Mikey still pitched a shutout, however Linares is at least a class above Burgos.
My money is on Mikey because although Linares has become more responsible defensively, he still makes mistakes that a fighter as smart and patient as Mikey can capitalize on, and we know Linares' punch and skin resistance is questionable.
We know Mikey is the bigger puncher and we know Linares is vulnerbale. Can Linares hurt Mikey?
If Linares is going to lose, is always going to be by stoppage. He can box, so he's never gonna lose a 12 round decision. All 3 of his losses are him getting KTFO. If you can get KO'ed, Mikey will be able to get it done. Mikey KO's him, especially when he fights like he's tired from doing flurries and using footwork. I saw fatigue in him vs Crolla today.
Mikey TKO.
Good thing is Mikey isn't tied to anyone at all right now, from what I understood.
Lol thats a little bit of an exaggeration.
Two of his losses were stopped by doc/ref.
Mikey has lights out power, and Linares has always been vulnerable - chin and stamina. I think Garcia gets him out of there in the mid rounds, but don't be surprised if its early as well.
Linares will be successful whilst he's standing, but he doesn't have a particularly disciplined style, never has. The types of shots he throws, uppercuts mixed with hooks, they are really creative, awesome combinations, but it leaves him open to be countered. Mikey has the timing and power to catch him between.
Actually this fight could end up looking similar to Khan-Garcia.
Good points. Those mid range uppercuts he likes to throw leave him wide open for counters.

my 100% unbias opinion is that Mikey stops linares.
My only problem will GBP work with Esponza?
Good thing is Mikey isn't tied to anyone at all right now, from what I understood.
Linares will start fast and win rounds but I think at some point mikey will land something big to get him out of there. But if he don't hurt him linares has all the skills to win enough rounds for a decision.
Jeorge has a beautiful offense but Mikey will land on him, and hurt him. Garcia in 7. Mikey sees openings exceptionally well and won't have any trouble picking apart Linares.
Linares vs Easter is the fight I want to see.
I like Linares style better but i have to see them in the face-offs and see the size difference. Mickeys last opponent looked like a midget compared to him.
I think Mikey stops him. Has the timing and has decent power.
Linares-Loma would be more interesting as Loma would be giving up a bit of size. Reckon he would outbox Linares eventually but he might fight it hard enough to get inside early on.
I think Linares can trouble him with his speed and movement, but Garcia has great timing, jab and power and i expect him to catch Jorge as the fight goes on. I think Linares is more open defensively than Crolla showed.
Need to see the fight though. Linares is much improved from the fighter i saw years ago. Smarter, more controlled, but still so fluid and crisp with his punching
Mikey has never a faced a boxer as good as Linares, but Linares has also never faced anyone like Mikey.
It would be a close fight.
Mini Burgos is a better pure boxer than Mikey, and he ran from Mikey.
