F'n idiots. What a joke. That very obviously wasn't a true knockdown; The punch wasn't what sent Jacobs to the canvas, GGG stumbling into him and making him lose his balance was. It's pretty easy to tell when you re-watch it.
It was a slip, clear as day. But if you wanna believe otherwise, my naive and ignorant little children, then go ahead.
Agreed. Hopkins said the same thing.
It was a clean KD, but he looked more buzz than hurt. He got up and still had his legs and senses, at that point I think he actually became more confident in himself.
GGG's youtube channel had a video (has since been removed) with a good angle from the floor showing that Jacobs squared up after the punches, and then GGG lunging at him pushed Jacobs down. I'm guessing they posted it early, and will probably put it back up after the HBO replay.
It was a dirty kd but still a kd, ggg hit him flush and on top of that pushed and ended up putting all his weight over jacobs... kind of like a wwe move... jacobs was still going down regardless...
yea yeah ok, Jacobs wasnt knocked down and he won according to you. Now go and try to cash that bet you placed on Jacobs and see how that works out for you. Cause he "won" according to you. SMH.
That probably was a push, Golovkin is far from that nice guy image he pretends to be, the guy can get dirty when it's necessary, he's ****ed up

jacobs seemed to disagree :lol1:
he nodded in acknowledgement and bit down on his mouthpiece. it was obviously a damaging punch. their feet did tangle, but a punch landed and the guy went down.
