This is officially my first tread.
Anyway I just came back home for the weekend to visit my parents and I was reading about the possibility of the fight happening in Kazakhstan and my mother looked over my shoulder and said "why would anyone want to go there?
Kazakhstan is a sh1t hole" lol
My mom was born in Moscow and she said my grandfather did business there and it was an absolute sh1t hole.
I just thought it was funny
I just meant in general, I think people from ANYWHERE in the world, if offered a free vacation to Cabo, Cancun, Rio, Almaty/Astana.
I mean, beautiful crystal-clear, warm water beaches YEAR-ROUND, with gorgeous women? Jet-Skiing, snorkeling, scuba-diving... Driving a bit further to see old Aztec/Mayan ruins in Mexico. Or seeing all the beautiful architecture in Rio, and again along with gorgeous beaches, and women.
Or a landlocked country... Still, I'm sure it'd be awesome to visit Kazakhstan, and check out all the history, and culture. I'm also sure there are downright gorgeous women in Kazakhstan too - but I'm guessing they would be a lot more conservative, hard to just hookup with for one-night stands while on vacation then the bikini-clad drunk women in Mexico/Brazil.
But it's really a no-brainer for most people if they were given choice of a free vacation to either location.
Ha ha, yeah, that's exactly what I've said any Latin American country would be a better choice for traveling and having fun. Kazakhstan is better for living.
Just like Thailand or any other place like that, it's good being there for a month or few weeks, drinking, seeing all these attractions and having opportunity to **** tourist *****es from all over the world for one night stand but that's definitely not the kind of place where you'd want to move for a living
Kazakhstan could be a succesful place for tourism, especially for those who would be interested in Central Asian culture, they have a fascinating culture over there (even though, you can say the same about almost every culture in the world), but places like Latin America or Thailand has more fun activities to offer, that's for sure

Daniyar Yelleusinov is the future. For those who don't know, he's like Kazakh version of Lomachenko and got the potential to be one of the best new pro talents. Like Magomed Kurbanov (the guy in my sig), he's one of the best new fighters from ex-USSR and I don't say that even about guys like Sergey Lipinets who gets all the hype here and overrated for me, so when I say it, it means something
Ты с Казахстана?
Yes I'm from Kazakhstan
Safer? For the most part, yes.
Better? While that's definitely subjective, you'd be hard pressed to find somebody who'd rather go to Astana, or Almaty, over Rio De Janeiro, Cabo, or Cancun.
Sure thing, Americans would better visit Rio and any Latin American country even if it's 3290243498 times more ****ed up than Kazakhstan, since they're more exposed to that culture and place plus Latin American culture is better represented worldwide through US media and movies, not to mention it's just geographically and historically closer to States. Tourism infrastucture is more developed in Latin America too, which means it's better to visit any Latin American country for a vacation rather than KZ, but social infrastructure is better in Kazakhstan, so Kazakhstan would be a better choice for living
Boxing is very popular here. I believe we have the most Olympic gold medals per person in the world. Started performing as independent state since 1996, Kazakhstan won at least one gold medal from every Olympics. So far: 7 gold medals and 3 Val Barker trophies. Amateur boxing is very popular here, we've got many gyms. Now I see many boxers turn pro, and test themselves in US. In the near future we'll see more world champions form Kazakhstan.

The Kazakhstani are highly known for Olympic boxing and the amateurs. Before independence the would just simmer and represent as Russia. Russians and Meldoniumz doe. I rather like Kazakhstan as their own way. They are dominantly from the ghengis khan race, like a Ruslan or Tszyu phenotype. Putin even has a bit of Mongoloid look to him, a tiny bit. Stalin didn't have that Asian Russian phenotype did he? Mongolians are super thick boned in structure. It's the genetic.

Of course Kazakhstan is a ****hole, just like all other countries that decided to separate from the Motherland
Instead of basking in the glory of being a world superpower with Russia at the helm
these "stan" countries decided to split from the USSR just to embrace their ****ty religions and troglodyte customs and habits, that scumbag traitor Gorbachev be damned to hell for allowing it.
Kazakhs should be thankful they got russian genes in most of their gene pools, thats why they can produce a superior athlete like GGG. kazahkstan dont deserve GGG
Well Kazakhstan maybe a ****hole for many of you. But it is one of the most literate countries in the world, thanks to Soviet system of education. Yes Kazakhstan is no more USSR, its independent, and its great to follow own course rather then someone in the Moscow. Anyway now Kazakshtan and Russia are capitalistic countries that are integrated in the economic union. You would be surprised but Russian genes contain a bid deal of Asian/mongol blood.
Every human on planet earth is made up of reused atoms that are millions of years old. There's no such thing as race on a scientific level. Did you know that most humans on earth are made up of atoms once used to construct Shakespeare?

Interesting, but we were also all from some dude picking his ass in a cave in Sudan

True in a lot of senses. Then you have Western powers(obama admin most recently) created propaganda cells in nations like ukraine convincing them Russia is the diabolical entity seeking their destruction. I think most soviet block states were better of with Russia in most areas. Funny, because once a lot of them succeeded from the soviet union after the collapse in 1989, they turned poor very quickly, and remain even poorer in 2017.
The neo liberals then try and create the EU. Which is a cluster**** in itself.

Tell me who is the butt of this song? It definitely aint Jews https://youtu.be/Vb3IMTJjzfo

Kazakhstan is a vast country that can embrace five Frances. Though its population is only 17 mln. Its a developing economy that has a lot of contrasts. It has a lot of features of a developed economy: McDonalds, Louis Vuitton, Subway, Spaceships. Huge equality gap. Some people are very very rich, while some are really barely making their ends. More than 100 hundred nationalities. Resource rich. High corruption, crony capitalism. Though most of the people are muslims, its kind of light islam. People like to drink alcohol, smoke weed. Though smoking weed and prostitution is prohibited you can find all pleasures you need rather easily. Its exchange rate depreciated twice a much for last 1.5 years. Now its a very very attractive place for investments and tourism. Just check the prices, you will be very surprised.
This is why....

Golovkin dream is unify the belts (saunders). Money and popularity is the Canelo fight. DLH now says that if he fights Saunders he put in risk the fight between GGG & Canelo. Knowing that Oscar already said even before the fight Canelo-Cotto that next Canelo fight should be against the winner of Lemieux-GGG, and since then it's being dragging it. What would you recommend GGG? Saunders or sit and wait?
Dan Rafael, The Boxing Guy (12:35 PM)
I believe GGG will fight Saunders in June. He is not going to be dictated to by Canelo and give up his dream for the 4th belt. He can go have homecoming fight for many millions (I've heard around $10 million) for a fight he will win win handily vs. Saunders. It's a no-brainer. If Oscar and Canelo don't like that that's on them and they will suffer the wrath of the fans and press if they blow the fight.

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhäuser Gate.
All those moments will be lost in time.
This is the arena where GGG would fight in June

There is some weird Xenophobia around those areas isn't there?
I used to know a lot of Polish blokes back in London and they hate Russians themselves. The consensus being that they view Russians having no 'finesse' they always used that word too but they meant 'class' I guess. I wonder what the average Russian thinks,
People are nuts anyway. Scottish, Welsh, English, and Irish still display mild xenophobia to each other. Makes you think that you put a bunch of people together they become a bit tribal if there is anything that binds them. Even a football team can do that job never mind a nationality.
First example Ireland. One half Catholic one half Protestant killing each other over religion. No racial divide just a life philosophy. Totally nuts. I've come to the conclusion that ignorance is color blind and universally spread around the world. If it's not race that divides it's religion if not religion it's politics. If all of the preceding doesn't get it done then it's going to be let's hate left handed people. Now that we have nuclear weapons just enjoy our brief stay in this planet and try to get along. At least you can go out with honor when the bombs start landing and say to yourself at least I tried to make the world a better place.
Kazakhstan is way better and safer than most of Latin American countries, including Mexico or Brazil.
I couldn't have said it better and that's the only thing I wanted to say in this thread
That happens with 90% of emmigrants from all parts of the world, even if they starve to death and they were living in decent conditions in their home country, they will be talking **** about their home country just to convince themselves that there was some point to leave it. And they can't really talk bad about the country from the moment they left it since they're not aware of what's happening in that environment anymore, they're not there, culturally and mentally. If you leave your home country, then just stop talking **** about it, because it looks like you're looking for excuses why your ass couldn't achieve anything at home. A real man supposed to find a way to do good in every place and every environment, doesn't matter if it's Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nigeria, Monaco or Switzerland, you have to be able to adapt to the surroundings
Nothing. Average Russian doesn't think about Poles at all. We don't interact with them at all, because it's next to impossible to find Poles in Russia, so there's no certain opinion on them
Interesting I wonder where it comes from then. Might be specific to the lads I knew.
