it does have bearing, it showed us GGG is either slipping or no where near as good as he was made out to be Look at GGG's resume, non of those guys he fought are anywhere near Jacobs ability. Jacobs is the first real good fighter he has fought. Canelo on the other hand has also fought mostly small guys coming up in weight. The only time he fought any decent guys he just proved to be an ordinary fighter. Lara, Cotto, Austin actually beat Canelo but he got a gift. He was also well outclassed by Mayweather yet someone wanted to gift him again. When he faces GGG he will really get a beating and possibly knocked out.

Before I was sure that Golovkin would rape him. Now, I see Canelo outboxing Golovkin... He got a gift decision against Pirog's leftovers. Alvarez's not an idiot though; business will come first, and he's still not going to split his entire event with Golovkin/K2 (unless Golovkin-Jacobs ended up doing 500k PPV buys, and even then he likely doesn't split his event. Nelo is too small. I don't see GGG losing to a smaller man. Jacobs had height, reach, skills and athleticism and the CHIN to do what he did. Canelo is short, stocky and cemented footed, has a low punch output, I'm even not sure he has the chin to punch with Golovkin let alone out box him for 12 rounds

Jacobs gave GGG problems because hes bigger, taller, and has great footwork. Canelo has none of those attributes you dont know **** about boxing or matchups. GGG still walks him down and batters him. Canelo will have some flurries though.

Canelo is not the super boxer that people want to make him to be. You saw what Mayweather, Cotto, austin and Lara made him look like. He doesn't like getting hit either, and GGG can hit. Canelo will be fighting at 160 against someone who can actually hit, he is flat footed and gets caught. No way Canelo beats GGG, even he knows that too. As for Jacobs, no one doubted his speed and boxing ability. Questions were only concerning his chin. Now that he was tested by the so called hit man everyone can confirm he is a complete package. You saw how he was moving, how he could dodge shots even with his hands down and on the rope, you saw his shoulder roll, his jab, lateral movement and the power which GGG respected, ability to change tactics like turning southpaw, uppercut and body shots, combinations etc. Anyone who knows boxing will tell you that's what elite fighters do.
