What are your impressions of the kid? He's extremely young so i'm not entirely sure that he's ready for a title fight. He's skilled but it seems like he is inconsistent and sometimes get a little careless.
He's the number 1 contender for jermells belt but I don't know if he's ready for that yet I think he easily beats Lara and should persue that fight first, but he's special in a few years I see him running the division.
He looks very good to me. He is ready for a title shot and has a very good chance to win. He isn't too young. Most of today's fighters turn pro at too old of age. Mosley, Mayweather and Tyson were younger than him when they became champions. Vargas, Trinidad, Benitez and De La Hoya were much younger than him when they won world titles. Many of today's fighters turn pro so late that they are old and past their physical prime when they finally win a world title.
I like lubin. A way better prospect than Hurd. He might have the same problem as canelo though where he's a bit stocky against guys in a weight class full of tall rangy fighters.
This is the casual girl talk I'm talking about.
So what if he was giving him that work?
Jackson is a skilled pro fighter not somebody they pulled from the seats 15 minutes before the fight.:lol1:
Grow your ass up mofo....
Charlo figured him out...then took him out.
LAnding one hard punch is hardly "figuring him out" I like how you said the Mexican was a Rubio leftover, yet all of Charles wins are leftovers lol
It didn't go to the cards fella'.
Let's deal with reality and what actually happened.
Jackson would make a fool out of that mummy Lubin just fought.
Ok but I said "Jackson was giving him that work". Which he WAS. And you reply saying that casual nonsense. Lol what the hell. Don't back track now go ahead and tell me Jackson wasn't beating him
Don't let Jermell's last fight fool you. John Jackson was outboxing Jermell. But Jackson outboxes every opponent he's ever been in the ring with. Every last one. He was also outboxing Andy Lee before Lee knocked his head off. Jermell was considered the best brother out of the two until Jermall's recent showing vs. Julian.
Jermell is a full 154 pounder who's been in the ring with Jackdon, Vanes, Gabe Rosado and Demetrius Hopkins.
Lubin is green just like Julian Williams was. And we see what happened to him. Give him another fight or two before going straight to Jermell. Jermell is about to fight another talent in Charles Hatley. And, we don't even know how good he is.
That's a good breakdown, another poster would just scream at us for picking Lubin over Charlo, but I don't think I've ever thought as Jermell as better than Jermall, Jermall already has beat better fighters (Trout, Bundarge, and Williams), but Jermell is already really good I just think Lubin is better, but I could be wrong
That's casual nonsense and you know it.
Lubin better learn how to move that boat anchor of a head.:lol1:
Casual? You saying Charlo was winning that fight? He woulda lost if it went to the cards
The trolls have come out
I'm not trolling, Jermell was losing the fight until he caught Jackson, if it were Jermall against Lubin, Jermall would end it 4

For 21 years of age, he looks like a nice prospect. That being said the smaller Charlo is going to thrash him. I don't think he is ready for that level yet.

Blind loyalty
That ain't beating Charlo.
Lubin KO's one of Rubio's leftovers and suddenly he's winning hypothetical matches, he likely won't be around long enough to make.
That massive sail-shaped head on his shoulders never moves.:lol1:
I have never seen a fighter with a head shaped like that go very far.
Lubin is Haitian bro

Loyalty to what? Lol lubin isn't Cuban last I checked. Like I said I've been saying he'll be the man at 154, not just saying it cause of 1 freakin knockout
You're acting like Charlo is all that but Jackson was giving him that work and winning clearly
Has the potential to be a legit big time player... needs to stay active and keep getting 3-5 fights a year...
I'm really impressed with his poise... he doesn't rush like how Spence does.. very laid back with good punch selection....
Let him keep fighting fringe contenders/journeymen in 2017, and by 2018 raise the level of competition every fight....
He just needs some more competitive rounds under his belt... keep him active like arum did cotto in 2003-2006, raising the level of competition with each fight...
3 years from now, he will be a force, still under 25 years old... don't rush him, but keep him active.. by 25 this dude will be a kingpin in a division
You'll be one looking mofo:lol1::lol1:
Either your Cuban or trolling.
That sh*t ain't beating Jermell.
The funny-headed guy beats a slow ass mummy (that got KO'd by RUBIO) and they get all caught up in the moment.
What would being Cuban have to do with me thinking lubin beats Charlo? lol I've been saying lubin will be the best 154 one day
