I know Lara has a fight coming up but I still believe he beat Canelo a couple years back and since e Canelo isn't fighting GGG anytime soon ( by the way Lara calling out Golocking too). If you agree with me about a Canelo Lara 2 how do you see if going ? I'm taking Lara by decision Only if its free, lara should never be on ppv again, those who paid the first time wont pay again... in fact they should get their money back...

nope. Not only did he lose (and he deserved to lose by the way), but he had his shot on the big stage and stunk up the joint. Not only did he look like a coward running after he got hit with the first shot he took but it looks worse when you consider how he talked himself into this fight. That's why he got the shot in the first place Canelo didn't have to fight him but the trash talk and saying how he was going to break Canelo's face and then to fight the way he did turned off a lot of fans. I watched this fight with some buddies who didn't like Canelo and were rooting for Lara. All of them said after the fight I don't care who he fights I will never watch Lara fight again. And you look at his career since. Most fighters after they have a PPV fight against a big name, win or lose they increase their fanbase and become a bigger draw it's just inevitable by the fact of having more exposure. The fight was close only because there was really no fight Lara running away made sure of that but what is not close or up for debate is Lara's name and brand took a major hit that night and that performance now hangs around his shoulders. His fights since have drawn terrible crowds, terrible ratings. Fans simply don't want to see him again not just against Canelo. Had he got KO'd but came to fight and put on a good performance he would be in a much better spot right now to get big fights. But when you don't already have a strong fanbase and shyt the bed like that it's hard to get that sink off you.

Lara has turned into one of the worst cherry picking champions in boxing. He is fighting a guy boxrec ranks about 130th and nobody else ranks at all.He is fighting a guy who hasn't fought in years and was slaughtered by Cotto in his last fight. Vanes is the only ranked fighter Lara has defended his title against in years. Lara has few fans because he runs away so much in his fights.Lara doesn't bring in the money either. Right now he doesn't deserve a fight with Canelo or GGG and they have no logical reason to fight him.Lara could by fighting guys like Andrade instead of the unranked guys he has been fighting.

Would prefer to see Canelo fight the winner of Golovkin v Jacobs. 154 is stacked there's big fights for Lara.

Lara talked all this crap about what he would do to canelo but ended up looking like a giant pu ssy the whole time not trying to engage at all, if there was no ropes he would of ran back to Cuba. It was such a ugly fight I don't think anyone won cause nothing happened.

No, and Canelo will never rematch him anyway, he couldn't do sh1t against Lara and looked horrible so they blame Canelo shortcomings on Lara running around. Canelo can't cut the ring off to save his life that's why he's been fighting stiffs recently
