If he fights jr first, then BJS in september, the Golovkin fight is moved to 2018... unless they fight on december.
He can fight BJS, then Golovkin in september, then he can fight Chavez jr later in 2018, once he's even more accostumed to the weight. And chavez jr has more time to rebuild his image. Better for both.
I hope it goes all wrong for him and he gets KTFO.
So after Chavez he can be like "OHH look I must fight my mandatory Saunders in September, sorry Gennady I see you later" and he can keep ducking GGG. **** him and his entire team.
Well if that happen then GGG's team has nobody to blame except themselves, they could've accepted the career high offer made to them otherwise they have to wait, that's just how boxing is, Canelo is always going to find an opponent against who he can make 10+ million, GGG doesn't have that pull.
It's all about the money.

Chavez has a huge following and would bring Canelo huge money. BJS brings a useless belt. Golovkin would bring Canelo a potential loss. It is not hard to figure out which route he is going to take.
Chavez is a boxer who brings in the big bucks and Saunders isn't. Saunders doesn't want to fight anybody good now anyway. He said that himself in a recent interview.
Didn't Canelo said he wanted to fight Golovkin in september 2017? and that he wanted the BJS belt first?
So WTF happened then?

Canelo is using bjs to put preassure on chavez on taking the deal, and he will do the same vs ggg... if any of those dont take the deals bjs will be there..
Canelo must be really confident in being able to handle the 160 pounder's to skip them over to fight a damn super middleweight. Chavez Jr. or not, the guy is big. Memo unfortunately is a crap S&C coach without juicing the guys, as shown his guys have been doing better since leaving him. Guy doesn't have a clue besides concocting potions in his living room.

same reason loughler been trying to get a fight with chavez for 4 years and still is to this day according to his interview on boxing voice this week. money talks same reason ggg hasnt accepted the flat fee offer. also is anyone honestly excited to see bjs fight ggg or canelo?
judging by what Oscar and Chavez Sr have been saying Canelo vs Chavez Jr is the Mexican Super Bowl..and if that's the case fu*k it, let em have it..as long as he fights Golovkin in 2017, I'm fine with it.
Chavez is Dinero De Vaca.
BJS won't sell PPVs in the States. Especially since he turned down the chance to get his name out there to the American public on the Canelo vs Liam Smith undercard.
i didnt think there would ever be a situation where i would root for chavez jr.
hopefully it doesn't come to that and he fights saunders/golovkin. i have no interest in chavez jr or a cotto rematch.
All fighters have money as priority.
But the fight looks bad anyway. Saying he's not ready for 160 then fighting Chavez Jr at 165 is sh*tting on his fans that defended his stance on growing into 160 for the GGG fight. He looks pretty bad. I mean dropping the belt to duck GGG was already bad, now he's making a mockery out of his own name with this move.
