Boxrec is already listing those fights as being done for 2/25 at the Ford Center at the Star. If it's a go, I'm sure that we'll see Claressa Shields and Darmani Rock added to the card as well. It'd be very interesting to see if Shakur Stevenson ends up on the card also. Definitely looking forward to this one.
MIGUEL COTTO AND GUILLERMO RIGONDEAUX TO RETURN ON HBO PPV

Move you down? They don't allow you to move on your own? Do they really monitor that sh*t? When I went to Atlantic city they didn't give a damn if you moved. Same thing here in Tampa for the UFC event we had.
I'm sure it all depends on the promoter, the size of the production, and the event staff of the venue. I've also been to fight cards where nobody cares where you go. But for large broadcasts like PPV, they'll swap people's tickets from the top section to move them down and make the crowd look big.
****, I actually hope it does poor live gate sales so they move my ass down. I went from section 204 to section 19 for Kovalev vs. Ward. I've been pulling this move for years.

Nice cherry pick by Cotto taking on Canelo's KO leftovers. Cotto has been looking at some easy opponents in Marquez, Bradley and now Kirkland. He will get well paid as always but I think almost everybody expects him to KO Kirkland. I think there are more challenging opponents out there but I guess he wants to play it safe.
$50 to watch it live is probably gonna be cheaper than the PPV itself. So, I dont fault you there. :lol1:

I just look at this fight as Cotto being a man that never comes to back down vs. Kirkland who is undefeated under Wolfe. I'll give them a $50 spot to chill in the cheap seats for the card.

Cotto vs Kirkland will sell between 200k and 250k. Not a bad business move. It's not the best fight but we know it will have... ACTION. And it won't have... CLINCHES. So some people will buy it.
And that's what happens when promoters and networks give us sh*t fights. Specially on PPV... such as this one. F*ck them.

Do they have another choice? HBO isn't buying many fights these days. When the pot starts to shrink from poor attendance and everyone pulling streams, this is what happens.

are they really gonna put this on PPV? did they learn anything with Kovalev-ward?
