Unless PBC starts matching up their guys against TR and GBP, they will never "fight everybody" and because of that PBC will not be as successful as 1 would hope.
It's amazing how much anger and resentment NSB posters express whenever they hear PBC is putting on good fights.
Hopefully NSB posters can let some of the animosity go and enjoy watching all the fights rather than only watching fights on HBO and not watching PBC fights because they do not want to see change unless its done by someone that looks like them.
I agree, if he doesn't start putting in his best against each other, he won't make it out of next year imo. It's about time, the days of cherry picking for top dollar are over.
Uncle Al needs another huge wave of investments to make those kinds of fights happen. His fighters would be expecting huge money for fighting riskier opponents. If Lara, for example, gets $2 mil for fighting Rodriguez and Zaveck, he would want $2 mil for a fight with Andrade.
Haymon's back is against the wall. He needs to produce numbers. It only makes sense that the "building" stage is over and it's time for the brand to perform.
Yep.......

According to Berto, haymon is going make these dudes fight real ones. No more gimmies.
Thoughts?
Lara is fighting Yuri Foreman next. Another gimmie fight brotha.
According to a few sources, actually. But common sense should tell you that this was the plan all along.
The plan was to lose all that money, develop no stars, and get fans to stop watching?
Haymon finally woke up? How did it take this long? $430 million could have produced tons of meaningful fights. Never seen a guy so terrified of pitting his top fighters against each other.
the plan was to waste hundreds of millions of dollars and get off to a terrible start and then make good fights?
His Harvard MBA sure came in handy when devising this plan.
