Nah it's not just u, it reminds me of N'dam vs lemieux ring size when they foght. Hopefully fighters get notified about ringsize long enough before the fight so that they can train and prepare right. I think the ringsize was a significant fator in the fight tonight and it clearly favored Shavikov.

I'd like to see Commey back in the UK. We have plenty of lightweights to match him with at the moment. Maybe Luke Campbell Yeah that would be good. I think Commey beats the hell outta Campbell.

I missed the fight. SD? Two close losses in a row for Commey, tough luck. Happy for Shafikov tough. I hope he finally manages to become world champion. He deserves it.

why does he deserve tune ups? because pbc ran out of money and couldn't find him a fight? that means shafikov has to wait? doesn't seem fair. just fight in 3 months. He's had two back to back wars and close losses, a couple of tune ups will do his confidence some good then he's good to go again.

Commey looks frustrated but he spent too much time on the ropes have to blame himself for that. Shaf is a work horse he can fight at that Pace for 15-20 rounds if he needed to he never stops coming. Even though Easter is much bigger I think Shaf will give him problems with that Pressure and also body work, easier to get inside on Taller Guys

Absolutely. Both guys always leave it all in the ring, and both could chew nails, this basically had to be a good fight, despite the fact that neither are massively polished. Shafikov's head movement is quite impressive at times. It's difficult to land a straight shot on him, which forced Commey to lie on the ropes and trade hooks with him

Shafikov gets the decision and it's deserved in my opinion I will gladly watch every fight both men are ever involved in, they give it their all and put on a great show every time Absolutely. Shafikov's will and relentlessness is amazing, but I think the ring is way too small and that gave him a much easier time finding Commey, I think Shafikov has done enough to get the decision since the fight is in Russia, but Commey fought well too, his power just couldn't sting Shafikov to stop him from applying the pressure.

That was good. What happend in the missed rounds could of been interesting/important.
