Some act like Rigo's resume is better because he beat Donaire. But Donaire is trash and one dimensional as he showed for the 10th time tonight. He has no jab, he fights the same way he fought when he was a fly weight, he's so easy to figure out and likely can't beat a single fighter in the top 5.
GRJ would absolutely mop the floor with him.
Even though Lomachenko already has a better resume. After the Walters fight, their resumes won't be even comparable and little Rigo will be forced to get on his knees and bow before his master.
You honestly think Donaire is exactly the same as when he fought Rigondeaux? My god you people are unbelievable. Donaire is a shell of his former self. Rigondeaux hurt his pride and his confidence, and Walters best the **** out of him knocking him out in 6. He's not the same guy.
Watch all of his fights when he was "In his prime" and tell me what he does differently now?
He barely beat Jeffery Mathebula and Omar Narvaez. This was during his so called 'prime years'.
After his loss to Rigondeaux he almost lost to Darchinyan. It wasn't because his confidence was down, it was because Darchinyan (who was more shot) fought smarter. He out jabbed Donaire.
^ When people's claims revolve around a lot of "would", "should" and "will" type words, you're arguing against fantasy and will never win in their minds. These same folks often bash boxers who actually "are" and "did".
It's absolutely ridiculous.
So? Up until this morning, Vargas was a champion, and Pacquiao wasn't. Would Vargas have been a better win?
Donaire is also well past his best.
Why am I even entertaining this stupidity?

It's simple, the better GRJ continues to do, the better it looks on Loma's resume.
and if Donaire keeps losing fights, it's not going to look that good on Rigo's resume.
It's more important if a fighter you beat keeps winning.
Simple. GRJ is a champion and Donaire is not.
GRJ will likely never lose unless he fights Lomachenko again. Donaire on the other hand is taking more L's than his hairline.

The hell sort of dumb logic is this?

Rigo's is still better. I like Loma but his fans are entitled and want full credit for things he hasn't done (yet). Give the guy some time to prove himself.
He trained alright, it's just that you can't teach an old dog new tricks.
He can hire anyone he wants, but he'll revert back to the same old one dimensional Donaire.
Dude chill Loma have lots of time, no need to say that rigo best win is bull**** ,Prime Nonito was better then this
Donire probably didnt even trained, he looked like club brawler, shot to death ,guy is past it by far

Has nothing to do with prime or taking of souls. Donaire fights the EXACT same way he fought when he was a flyweight. It's just that fighters now know that you just have to avoid that left hook and you've won the fight. He can't jab, he could out jabbed badly in all 3 of his losses. He has nothing outside of a left hook and a straight right. It's so easy to beat him. Especially now since he doesn't have the size edge anymore.
GRJ on the other hand, it takes a special kind of talent to beat him. Someone with extraordinary footwork and the type of speed that other fighters in the weight class simply don't possess.
GRJ is a favorite over everyone at 126, he's even favored on oddschecker to beat Frampton.
Donaire can't beat anybody that's good. Give him Cesar Juarez again and I bet he'll get KOed like he almost got KOed at the end of that fight.
