Don't even ****ing start. Wlad and his team are the biggest cheats in boxing. Yes Floyd pretty much picked his opponents, but look at who he picked. Wlad did fight his mandatories, but as soon as there was a good one who was of similar size he lost, I give him credit for not ducking it, but thats were his due credit stops.
Wlad is as corrupt as I've seen in boxing. Him, Boente, that whole ****ing outfit give me the creeps. When it comes to the business side of boxing, they are filth, and they create as much of an uneven playing field as I've seen.
They tried to pull all that same tactics with team Fury, little did they know they were up against Gypsies who are literally given a masters in screwing people over from childhood. The mattress they tried to create out of the ring was scandalous, the stilts at the weigh in, the flying headbutt during the fight...honestly it was pathetic.
You have no leg to stand on with this argument - and I actively rooted against Floyd for his whole career.
Had nothing to do with Klitschko being on the slide he just fought a guy bigger than him ? Brilliant.
If it's not Floyd then it should be Ward if he beat Kovalev, The Kessler fight was in November 2009 but I still count it in 2010. If Ward beat Kovalev then he has Kessler, Froch, Abraham, Dawson and Kovalev and his resume, 2 time unified champ at 2 very tough weight classes and he'd still have 3 more years to go, maybe he'd fight Stevensons late next year and beat him too? Very hard to top that. Crawford shouldn't be slept on either along with Danny Garcia if he beats Thurman.
The point I was making was Wlad fought everyone and anyone, Floyd literally paid the WBC and told them who he was fighting, Wlad follows the criteria every other boxer follows, Floyd made up his own.

2011 was the only unification post 2010 mate.. But it did have the some of the HW stars Haye, Povetkin, Pulev & some decent fighters - Thompson, Peters, Wach
But for me Wlad is behind Floyd..

I think its more interesting to speculate who might get it because up to now its Floyd but he won't win it.
If I had to guess who might get it, I would put a few names forward. Terrence Crawford, Lomachenko, Canelo, Golovkin, Ward.
If I had to guess out of those who might get it...I would say Canelo. I think he'll beat Golovkin. I am not sure Crawford will get the right fights, its hard to see his path at the moment, but I would make him a close 2nd.
-Danny Garcia (17-0, 8 KOs): beat Ashley Theophane, a faded Mike Arnaotis, Nate Campbell, Kendall Holt, a faded Erik Morales twice, Amir Khan, a fading Zab Judah, Lucas Mathhysse, Mauricio Herrera, Lamont Peterson, a fading Paulie Malignaggi, a fading Robert Guerrero, and has a fight against Keith Thurman sitting in the cue.
-Saul Alvarez (17-1, 11 KOs): beat Jose Miguel Cotto, a faded Carlos Baldomir, a faded Lovemore N'Dou, Alfonso Gomez, Kermit Cintron, a faded Shane Mosley, undersized Josesito Lopez, Austin Trout, Erislandy Lara, Alfredo Angulo, a sans-Ann Wolfe James Kirkland, Miguel Cotto, undersized Amir Khan, and Liam Smith, fought Floyd Mayweather and was supposed to fight Paul Williams.
Honorable Mention:
Adonis Stevenson (15-1, 13 KOs): beat Derek Edwards, Chad Dawson, Tavoris Cloud, Tony Bellew, Andrzej Fonfara, Sakio Bika, and rising prospect Thomas Williams Jr.
Sergey Kovalev (24-0-1, 21 KOs): beat Lionell Thompson, a fading Gabriel Campillo, Cornelius White, Nathan Cleverly, Blake Caparrello, a faded Bernard Hopkins, Jean Pascal, and Isaac Chilemba.
Andre Ward (10-0, 2 KOs): beat Allan Green, Sakio Bika, Arthur Abraham, Carl Froch, Chad Dawson, Edwin Rodriguez, Sullivan Barrera
Wladimir Klitschko (11-1, 7 KOs): beat Eddie Chambers, Samuel Peter, David Haye, Tony Thompson, Alexander Povetkin, Kubrat Pulev, Bryant Jennings, and fought Tyson Fury.
Floyd Mayweather Jr (9-0, 1 KO): beat Shane Mosley, Miguel Cotto, Robert Guerrero, Saul Alvarez, Marcos Maidana, Manny Pacquiao.
the last 6-7 years? believe it is almost 2017!??!]
floyd mayweather without a doubt. you can make the argument that pacquiao was anywhere from faded in the early part of the decade, to flat out done in the latter part.
2010 and up is hands down Roman Gonzalez
since Jan 30 2010 he's 21-0, and has held a belt in 3 different weight classes.
Golovkin is a close second going 17-0 since 2010 and has 3 belts.
From 2010- right now, no one has beaten the quality of opposition or accomplished what floyd has. so he would have to be the winner if it ended right now.
other notable fighters would be chocolatito, klitchko and the ward-kovalev winner. but that is still a month away and technically isnt considered 'right now'
Klitschko had to face mandatories, Mayweather literally picked when and who he fought. Klitschko fought his mandatories and unified whilst his opponents were in their prime and optimum, no delays no allowing them to wane before considering them.
Klitschko is the man of the century.
