Damn Boxnation took a beating for the rest of the year

Boxnation has had the better string of fights this year and last. The end of the year hasn't panned out for them but Sky hasn't exactly been covered in glory either. Just as British boxing has hit it's highest heights since the 90s, it's become increasingly hidden behind a paywall. That damages the sport. How many non boxing fans know McDonnel, Frampton, AJ, Eubank Jr (without his father) and so on? We need ITV or Channel 5 getting back in the game with a larger budget.

For reasons unique to the Heavyweight Division, the WBO World Champion in the Heavyweight Division shall defend his title at intervals not greater than twelve (12) months counting from the date of the acquisition thereof or from the last compulsory defense as the case may be in a twelve (12) round fight, against the Mandatory Challenger, as determined by the Championship Committee according to these Regulations, unless an exception is made pursuant to these Regulations.

He wanted to fight Rob Brant or Artur Akavov LOL, but now that Fury Klitschko II got delayed again, or even cancelled, Saunders is kinda screwed, Fight was supposed to happen on that undercard. Saunders needs to fight somebody soon, he is almost out for a year now. Karma is a bitch i have to tell you, Saunders could have fought GGG in November but he wanted to get another bumfight in and milk his title and just use GGGs name to promote this crap fight. Btw does anyone know when BJS is fighting? I recall Frank Warren saying that his opponent was supposed to be announced last Monday. On boxrec he's scheduled to fight on Oct. 29 but with no opponent. Yeah for sure I cancelled my subscription to them I like to pay to watch the sport and don't get me wrong I'd love to pay for Sky but I only really want to watch boxing in full 1080p until Sky Sports put out a dedicated boxing channel and an option to only purchase that channel is the only moment I will entertain the thought of subbing to them but for now I will just stream.

Surprised they didn't get the Kovalev/Ward fight. If Sky want a fight they will get it. Their budget is just way way bigger than Boxnations.
