If thats true then A side Golovkin should be calling all the shots. Saul is a even bigger b*tch avoiding the biggest superstar who provides the biggest reward.
Why is your sig a GIF of Floyd missing three punches, and Pacquiao missing one? Is it meant to show what a letdown the fight was after Floyd marinated it for 8 years, or what?
I don't know why. but I enjoyed the fight, both pac n Floyd did what they could at the stage in their careers but Floyd won with footwork, wasn't most exciting fight but I enjoyed it. pac was forced to fight floyds fight, pac is more of a fighter but I think he boxed pretty well he just didn't have enough... the fight could have happened in 2009 but....
Nobody knows Smith. Everybody in the world knows Khan and that's why that did 460k and this did 62k. GGG-Book did around 500k on UK ppv. Canelo-GGG should be a fairly even split when they fight, 60-40 for Canelo is fair I think.
Ms. 62k should be gracious and accept a 10 million offer instead.
Getting a stadium filled with a ticket price of a daily snack wont get you to the A side.
he was thrown to the wolves, he deserves rest. seems like a pretty cool dude too

although 62k is pretty hard to believe, a bad number would certainly explain why Oscar is in such a hurry to lock in GGG to a purse split for a fight that is a year away. Perhaps once the number leaks out, that whole "Canelo is the face of boxing" theory might just get debunked......
I'd honestly wait till this coming Saturday before making such a statement. Alvarez's two debut PPV did over 300k PPV buys and the Khan fight apparently did 600k PPV buys.
The fact that Alvarez was able to put over 50k people into AT&T Stadium, makes it pretty obvious that Alvarez is a clear draw.
How are you going to react when the number comes out and it's over 500k PPV buys?
The 50k tickets sold were well priced. The most expensive tickets were $750
I'm a Canelo fan, and i'm not a fan of GGG
I also was not a fan of this fight, I would react surprised at Canelo's drawing power if he did over 200k, let alone reach 500k
It's obviously a troll account
Even the lowest estimates were 300k. The manufactured face of the sport cant possibly do less than 300k on Mexican Independant Holiday? Oscar, full on cocaine will put out some hilarious fantasy numbers soon.
Im hearing that over 12,000 tickets were given away. And over 10,000 tickets were 25$.
source or gtfoh. tired of the shill ****.
From the opening press release, tickets were priced $750-$40.
Yes, he said that. But he doesn't have the lying reputation compared to Arum and especially Oscar.
Fight-hype was actually the first site to report that number, and then espn reported a similiar number...so that number is probably pretty close to reality.
the "97K" bs was from a Glaser (who has no connections in boxing or television) tweet, which should only be taken as a joke.
Canelo-Smith numbers won't be good, but they should end up around 150-200K at worst, right?
Loeffler has already been caught trying to sell a $1.5m contract offer as if it was actually a $4m offer (let alone the shenanigans behind the Ward fiasco), so I'd hold off on speaking to the honesty of Tom Loeffler.
Alvarez-Lara and Alvarez-Angulo both did over 300k PPV buys, Cotto-Alvarez apparently did 900k PPV buys, and Alvarez-Khan apparently did 600k PPV buys (doubt/discount the reported numbers as you wish).
With the amount of fan energy that it took to get over 50k fans into the building to see Alvarez fight, there's no doubt in my mind that Alvarez-Smith did at least 400k PPV buys, and I would not be shocked if it ended up coming close to matching the number for the Khan fight.
I can't believe people are actually talking about this number. :lol1:
It's a troll number from a troll account. I'd love it to be true, but there's no basis in fact for it.
Im hearing that over 12,000 tickets were given away. And over 10,000 tickets were 25$.
I look for fun and found no $25 tix.
Bro lives in Dallas and he was looking for give aways and saw none
