Let's set it up then since the certain bunch of people will only create this type of thread If It was Golovkin who fought Liam Smith like last night.
Gennady Golovkin (C) Vs. Kell Brook
Kell landed at a fairly not bad rate but this is an opponent who GGG walked down and didn't bother with defending against
http://photo.boxingscene.com/uploads/golovkin-brook-compubox.jpg
So 300 punches thrown in just 5 rounds only 80 punches landed against Golovkin lets compare that with Canelo's fight with Liam Smith
Liam Smith (C) Vs. Canelo Alvarez
Liam was for a good portion of the fight was backing Canelo Alvarez up and landing nice little combos but similar to Kell he was landing but not hurting his man however unlike Kell, Liam had absolutely no snap to his shot
http://photo.boxingscene.com/uploads/canelo-smith-compubox_1.jpg
So 400 punches from both men at round 9 this isn't a fight that was by any means fought at a fast pace, Liam landed over 100 punches and miraculously Canelo never felt the effects of draining his body from 20-30lbs thus remained with his power late on in the fight, strange one that isn't it?
So from the comparison of both stats we can tell that Liam Smith was at times actually landing more punches in some rounds whereas Golovkin was always landing more.
What I do find funny is that HBO unwillingness to give Smith any props or any rounds when he clearly deserve one or two of them but nope Harold Lederman was instructed to do what Golden Boy wanted him to do.
Liam Smith was more successful than Kell Brook was against Golovkin, how about that then yet nobody wants to talk about Canelo being exposed?
I dunno, Canelo style with Eubank Jr would mesh very nicely out of the two Eubank Jr likely has the better chin could see Eubank Jr making Canelo quit 400 punches through 9 rounds would not be enough to keep up with Eubank.I agree eubank would give cuntnelo a hard time
yes the fight with eubank jr is the more difficult of the two.
no one is easily beating canelo, 'cept for that one dude with the ridiculous D.

I think If he does fight BJS he can be lucky its Saunders with that belt and not Eubank Jr, he might be a little bit more hesitant to fighting Eubank Jr who I think is a very tough fight for Canelo infact I think Eubank Jr could easily beat Canelo that work-rate of Eubank Jr is impressive and his inside game is very nice.

agreed he would, but he'd solve that problem by the 8th.

Thread title should read; "TS exposes both his lack of boxing knowledge and integrity".
Funny how you never said that when people were talking about Kell Brook exposing Golovkin the agendas are coming out.
See me, as much as I hate making assumptions because it's led me to making shit predictions in the past, I feel Canelo fighting at 160 is gonna patch those issues up a bit. You mentioned that Canelo gets touched on the inside, while this is true to an extent, Golovkin isn't the fighter to exploit that because he doesn't emphasize on throwing short combinations and really he isn't even a good inside fighter, at times actually terrible. The inside should serve as a safe space for Canelo.
I think, and we all have good reason not to be caught up in the Golovkin hype whilst still understanding his strengths but one thing that makes me like Canelo's chances is that Golovkin hasn't faced anyone that's gonna take steam out of his punches through body punching. Canelo is legitimately the only fighter I can think of that can actually do that, slow Golovkin down.
Definitely see your point about the inside. Golovkin doesn't have an inside game.
I just think when Golvkin cuts off Canelo and Canelo goes the the ropes he's in trouble. He'll hit Canelo, it'll be interesting to see how he handles that. He's shown to be durable thus far.
If Canelo can keep it at range he's in with a big chance. Because if we are talking boxing and counterpunching then Canelo is much better IMO.
I think at range, it's Canelo's fight.
He'll have success on the outside and at mid range when Golovkin comes forward.
My concern is his defense, whilst solid, he gets hit at times when he backs up and on the inside he doesn't defend well IMO, and Golovkin will land big shots when he gets into range and that won't be good.
Another issue I have is later in the fight Canelo seems to fade and become less defensively responsible. He's going to need to be razor sharp and switched on every second to do it. He can be, it's whether he can make the right adjustments

I know what you mean but I expect him to be more defensively responsible against Golovkin, I also don't see him shelling up for too long, I see something more similar to what he did against Cotto where he would shoot right away after catching shots on his guard. On top of that, I don't see Canelo struggling to counter in between Golovkin's shots so he'll be more offensive minded.

Canelo got exposed? LOL He won every round and smith took an epic beating until he folded. Provided a highlight reel knockout. If anyone was exposed it's the guy who faced a WW and got his face busted up looking like a pepperoni pizza after the fight while canelo looks fresh as a daisy. The guy who many had losing the fight and dead even (just like the judges) before brook camp threw in the towel.
If canelo got exposed by that same standard GGG got bent over and butt phuked. You know you looked bad when your own fans making up lies that he was sick in the fight.
Thinking about the weigh in, Canelo was exposed.. Stripped down to the birthday suit because his underwear weighed like 2lbs..
Mi so thirsty mayneee

At the very most Canelo has outgrown Junior Middleweight but we already knew that.
I was referring to literal exposure(weighing in naked) and what you said that was clear as day too..
Neither were exposed..........

Saying Canelo was exposed by Smith is as stupid as saying Golovkin was exposed by Brook.
Please stop with this crap.
Which one was exposed the worse of the two though?
