Saying that Golovkin fights in a poor division is just a reality of life.
This has nothing to do with hate or bias.
Him staying there trying to collect the belts and beat Hopkin's records robs us as fans of good fights.
If Golovkin wants to include his name in the record books, good for him, but his career will be ****.
You know what's funny? A lot of these guys on this forum would think canelo vs bjs is a 50/50 fight and would pick bjs to win. I would put him 3rd or 4th ranked in a weak mw division while people would rate canelo #1 in the "stacked" jmw divsion. Make sense.
You're struggling with rational thought, are you?
The fact that a jr middleweight can just move up and pick up any belt shows how poor the division is.

you can argue that is a fair prediction, canelo has never faced a MW fighter and never fought above 155, so we really need to see how he handles a couple of legit MWs before we can rate him... is like GGG-zurdo or degale, etc.. im not sure that ggg could handle those guys, never seen ggg avobe 160 and im not certain how he will deal with those guys, maybe ggg destroys those guys or maybe not...
but judging P4P the rest of the MW division is wack (mediocre at best) IMHO...
Golovkin might retire after he gets all the trinkets. There's tons of marquee fights to be done. Hopkins is known because he fought hofers..
Golovkin retires now or in 5 years and he has no marquee fight. That's a ****ty career anyway you spell it.
He's the victim of **** managment. He should've taken heads at 160 then moved on to 168. Fights with Bute, Degale, Direll, and Jack would've been epic.
You can't call yourself a Golovkin fan and not be mad at not seeing him in good fights. If you are, you're just a cheerleader.

If a lower top 5 jr middleweight can beat the number 2 middleweight, what does that say about the middleweight division?
Andrade moves up he's automatically number 2.
Any middleweight moves up he becomes a fringe contender.
No pedigree in sight.
Middleweight sucks stop kidding yourselves.
When was it strong though? It was weak in the 90s, it was weak when Sergio was on top and it's still weak.
Fighters follow the money. When Canelo moves up, you will see the 154 fighters take notice and move up to chase the megafight.

It sucks cause a white dude is knocking out all the Brothas
Oh no the truth on why a lot of people don't rate the middleweight division lol!
If GGG wasn't about people would be ranting and raving about how damn awesome Daniel Jacobs is.
Golovkin aside, a lot of the ranked MW are of similar quality i feel. If they faced each other the division would be decent. For various reasons though, the aren't facing each other.
Jacobs, BJS, Lemieux, Eubank. There's good fights to be made there.

it only sucks because they don't fight each other. if they did then the cream would rise to the top and you'd find that there's not actually a deficit of talent in the division. divisional strength is all about perception

No way! Murrary, Lemieux, Rosado, Rubio, Wade are the Roy Jones Haggler, Ray Robinson, and Tommy Hearns of our day. I know because Golovkin fans constantly remind me of how good MW is right now. The problem is that Golovkin is so far above those guys that he makes these modern masters look like bums.
