Because Canelo has the knowledge of distance and timing and thats something Khan has an issue of maintaining discipline of
yes, amir got careless...
he was doing well before he got caught...
then, as expected, bye bye....
Has NOTHING to do with his Chin! Khan has Sh1t Reflexes, Vision and Timing!
I been saying this for awhile before finding this video of his trainer Virgil Hunter talking about him having "Serious Eye Issues":
I'm no trainer or expert but I notice this even going back to Prescott fight, it is like he doesn't react to punches that is coming back at him. When he throws punches he just neglects everything Defensively and leave that chin WIDE OPEN
It is natural reflexes for the body to flinch and embrace for impact but with Khan because he doesn't see what is coming and usually that is when he gets drop by stuff he doesn't see coming. I see the exact same flaw in guys like David Price, Thomas Dulorme and Glenn Tapia have the exact same issue. Very stuff from stiff guys with no flexiblity from the waist up. Just no vision, reflexes or timing.
This is why I hate that Khan's chin is wet tissue paper, because he gets knocked out so easily that everyone can continue this delusion that he can't be outboxed. "He was winning until he got hit with one big punch."
Yeah, whatever.
There is no realistic scenario where Khan won the 4th or 5th round. Let's stop the 5-0, 4-1 Khan nonsense, because that's all it is is nonsense.
Khan's speed didn't win him the fight because Khan's speed means nothing without the skill to back it up. The best fighters will always time that speed. Alvarez timed the speed, beat his ass, and then knocked him out.
Canelo had good timing, he is also quite fast himself and not only that but he has both power and weight advantage, to end it all Khan has no boxing brain.
Before the fight Amir said his speed would help him beat Canelo and he was happy with the weight
Khan was peed beating him till the KO came, which was inevitable considering Khans vulnerabilities and Canelo being the much bigger fighter.
I don't understand why you always ask such stupid questions.
Yeah he did by being a fraud. I am glad he got exposed for being one.
Ok. He's been exposed. So why keep making him relevant by posting about nothing else but him?
In all of Khans fights he has good speed in the first five rounds. He usually slows down in the second half of a fight so his doing good early against Canelo means little. Even if his chin didn't fail him again, eventually his endurance and focus would have.
Canelo was too big, he landed more body shots on Lara then Khan, but Lara didnt slow down as much as khan, but when you fight a WW, ofcourse your body shots will slow a fighter down fast. Especially someone who just put on a lot of weight.
Also I had Khan up 4-1, but Canelo was timing him well, once he got use to the speed.
we all saw the lucky punch canelo got off. he had no idea where khan even was. just got frustrated and threw some wild overhand right and then followed khan on the highway and made him speed off.
