What the fu*k??? TS you're wrong, your essentially saying A is B, when B is A.
Christopher Livingstone Eubanks.
The family surname is EUBANKS. British people who watched Boxing in the 90's know.
Casuals call him Eubank. So not only is the thread starter complaining about a very unimportant matter, he is wrong and posters are spelling his name right. Every article I have read on him spells his name Eubanks.
Lighten up. Nobody is deliberately misspelling his name. Eubank and Eubanks are very close. Matthysse used to get his name spelled about 100 different ways. GGG haters call him little g. Accidentally misspelling Eubank isn't exactly the crime of the century.
My old man likes to do the whole family history thing and has access to a few sites so I asked him to check the birth registers.
Apparently he's down as being born in Camberwell south London as Christopher Livingston Ewbank.
Yeah, he started out with the S still attached to his name but changed it at some point from memory.
Really though, the TS seems a little upset by something that's really not very important. When things like this upset you that much, you know somethings not right in life.
Go do some yoga bud. Have a bath. Drink a beer. Lift some weights. Go for a run. Fly a kite. Kick over a kids sandcastle. Jack off to something wholesome instead of a donkey ****ing some redneck. Eat a plate of ghost peppers. Go live life fella!
There's more to life than worrying about people on the internet adding an S to someones name you've never met.
This thread wasn't meant to be taken seriously, it was just a jab at a few people I'd seen writing it with an S on the forum.
Also, we got some bonus Eubank history.
Actually, I think you'll find Sr's real name was Chris Eubanks and that is exactly why many including promoters who have worked with him like Frank Warren refer to them as Eubanks. So who's the real casual mother****er.

I'm with you I'm just curious as to when that was done because to my knowledge he never went as "Eubanks" as a boxer.
There's no mention of it in his autobiography and he has all his family members down as Eubank including his father. He does state that he saw a lady called Melanie Bloor who taught him how to better pronounce his 'S's though.
In the marriages and divorces register he's down as Eubank in 1990 so it was before then.
More recently, he spent £31,000 to cure his lisp.
I'd be asking for a refund if i was him. Sounds like he always did.
Anyway, i think he did possibly start his career with the name Eubanks, his brother too Peter Eubanks. I never actually knew it was changed due to a lisp though, otherwise he should call himself Chri not Chris.
I have never heard anyone call Eubank - Eubanks, I have however heard people called them 'The Eubanks' in reference to both Jr and sr. Kell Brook is the one that know people would never get right.

It was a long time ago. The reason is actually hilarious (or sad, depending on your outlook). Apparently he didn't like people taking the piss about not being able to say his name properly because of his lisp, so he changed it so that it wouldn't have an 's' at the end.
More recently, he spent £31,000 to cure his lisp.
Just check his wikipedia page for one. He legally changed it to remove the S later in his life. It's been discussed in a few interviews also, Frank Warren did one for IFLTV.
Christopher Livingstone Eubanks was his name before he decided to change it.

I was not aware of this.
When did this happen because this has eluded me.
For as long as I recall he went by Eubank without an S. But yes he was often regarded "Eubanks"
