Lets get it done uncle Al :boxing:
Imo this is the biggest fight that can currently be made within the PBC stable, it's realistic and would create major buzz, two young, unbeaten, hungry lions going head to head.
If it happens,........Danny finally runs out of luck. He'll get beaten badly; a knockout or tko very early. Despite his record, Garcia is at the bottom of the ww list. There are 10 welterweights that will beat the crap out of Garcia. Danny and Angel know it.
Danny can't beat; Thurman, Porter, Bradley, Spence, Brook, Broner, Chaves, Mikey Garcia,Matthysse in a rematch, and khan may beat him in a rematch also.
The proof that Garcia can't beat those guys is that he hasn't fought an 'a' level guy yet. If angel thought Danny was as good as his record, why hasn't he put him in with a stud? He knows the deal,....Danny was getting beaten up by Khan, Herrera beat danny up all night, Peterson knocked Danny around in the late rounds and Matthysse was beating Danny until his eye closed up.
When Danny takes some shots he's in big trouble. He stiffens up and can't fight going backwards. Herrera was beating Danny steady and he had no answer. It was Danny's first fight in Puerto Rico, and the home fans were really fired up. At the end of the fight, you could hear some fans booing when Garcia got the decision. It was 8-4 or 9-3 for Herrera.
When Danny fought Lamont Peterson,....Lamont wouldn't throw punches for the first 8 or 9 rounds. He kept moving but threw very few punches. Then, in the 9th or 10th round, Peterson got brave and he was knocking Danny all over the ring. Danny got nervous and looked terrible instantly. He looked bad against Khan also. Angel was riding his ass between rounds, then Danny closed his eyes and Khan walked into a wild left hook. You could hear Khan's chin shatter like a chandelier.
Angel Garcia is having nightmares already.
True. The only way I see Garcia winning would be if the fight was held in Puerto Rico with 3 Puerto Rican judges. Herrara was dealt with in the same way.:)
Don't be naive.
We already got incredibly lucky with Thurman-Porter, Haymon is NOT gonna put his 2 biggest stars at 147 in one ring.
Lmfao! Very true. Its funny the same people that are supposedly real boxing fans and love pbc would love for arum & gbp to go out of business but dey real boxing fans doe.
Thurman should rematch Porter and then the winner of that faces the winner of Garcia and Berto in a title unification bout after both sides face a mandatory challenger in-between.
There is absolutely no excuse for this fight not to happen by the end of the year.
You mean other than the fact that (a) after a brutal 12-round fight, expecting Thurman to fight again in five months probably isn't realistic and (b) both Thurman and Garcia has mandatories due.
Don't be naive.

looking at your gif, lol if only that foo didn't go down, if he only had enough legs, he would've been hit by the following right and then go to sleep lol
They got "murked" by Garcia.
Thurman could win. But he ain't murkin' Garcia.
It's gonna be another barn burner.
exactly...they are closely matched and its not like thurman is a big ww like mark breland, aaron davis, etc.
Skill wise they are close....Garcia has the better punch resistance imo...it'll be a 7-5 type fight imo
heard that one before.....Where Matthysse and Khan now?

I think after Matthysee, Garcia has looked almost progressively worse in each fight. He's flat footed, has average power, speed, etc. No one he's fought since Matthyssee has a package of skills with any combinations that feature the pop that Thurman has. IMO.
I think Danny is average, against those solid fighters you mentioned, he basically got his ass beat kinda. Thurman has a way more destructive arsenal than Peterson and Herrera.
I think Danny was struggling to make weight at 140 and that hampered some performances. I've never seen him hurt before and he's taken some bombs. I don't think he's average at all. I just think nothing stands out about him which is why people make lazy analyses like, "he's average." He's well-schooled, solid puncher, solid beard, solid quicks and can box moving forward or backward (see: Matthysse, Guerrero). He's got a wealth of amateur experience and is battle tested as a pro. No one is going to walk over him easy.
Can't that be Garcia's next fight? Still plenty of time to make another fight to end the year if Garcia won.
Haymon needs to stop keeping his fighters out of the ring for so long.
The last time Garcia fought three times was 2012, so it ain't got **** to do with PBC. I don't see that pattern changing this year. Maybe they'll put him and Jacobs on the same card.
I think Thurman getting stopped is more likely than Garcia getting stopped. I could see Thurman winning a decision in a close competitive fight but Thurman has destroyed no one of note for me to think he would destroy a Garcia who has been in there with a slew of solid fighters.

Garcia would be Thurman's best opponent...in his prime...hungry and isnt just gonna lay down...no easy work...let alone "murked"
He got his ass kicked by herrera and lamont. And has looked very average at WW. Thurman is faster and has more power, porter is a better WW than DSG its an easier fight for thurman that porter was
Garcia is an ordinary fighter. He can't deal with the footwork and speed long enough, to combine with Thurman's power to not get destroyed. Garcia would take a beating and get stopped, IMO.

Probably be a lot of posing and feinting because both guys like to counter punch, but when they let punches fly it would be awesome. And they would throw some fierce punches.
Chin vs chin, I think Danny has a big edge. Could see Danny Hurting him.
If it goes to points then Thurman.
But Danny seems to always pull it out so who knows, definitely intrigued.
