He went MIA after losing his last two bouts, anyone here knows him or at least how's he doing in life?
Saw an avatar of Omar Henry yesterday and somehow I was reminded of Mike, last time I saw any of him was when he lost to Randall Bailey :beerchug:
Did same thread. apparently he's slangin' mixtapes out of the trunk of his car. Not a dishonorable profession. Forty-Water got his career off that way.
I feel pretty bad for him, man
He wasn't a bum by any means. He actually had a pretty good skill set. It was unfortunate that Bailey landed that hail Mary. He got a little too loose and unfocused after outboxing him for 11 rounds. That was hard to recover from
100% correct there pal, inexperience lost him both the fight and his career, after that his confidence was shot, even though he and his team knew that bailey would only win by landing a bomb, he lost concentration through inexperience. Next fight alexander dances around the ring, bailey never gets in a position to set himself for his trademark shot and gets made to look poor. Jones just forgot for a split second , thought hed won or whatever and boom not just fight over but career over

What happened was, he got put in against a randall bailey who had been paid step aside money by jan zaveck 3 fights on the trot for the ibf. Bailey had waited too long and even though mike had outboxed him bailey carried a big punch and lack of experience cost jones the fight. I remember it well because bailey was a ridiculous 7/1 to win by ko and so i made a healthy profit. Jones team let him down, he could easily have rebuilt but his confidence was shot after that
