David Haye beat Valuev, Chisora, De Mori and Gjergjaj. And he did it in dominant fashion. Povetkin is very dangerous, though. I just see David Haye as a stylistical nightmare for him. If medium strenght punches from Wladimir can put Povetkin down, then full-force fast surprise punches from Haye can do it too and we know that Povetkin isn't the fastest fox in the forest.
Valuev was a bum who looked disabled, he was soundly beaten by an ancient, shot Evander Holyfield before Haye barely scraped by him in one of the worst fights of all time. Di Mori? Gjergjaj? lol. I'll give him credit for knocking out Delboy but that was what? 5 years ago?
Haye's best win at HW is Delboy, that says it all.
Povetkin puts him to sleep. What has Haye ever done at HW?

This would be an interesting fight. Hard to say what happens for sure but Haye has been inactive for a few years and I doubt he's as good as he was before his temporary retirement. Povetkin might catch up to him and steam roll him. But Haye has...or should I say "had" great speed. That could have been an athletic skill that could helped him. Maybe he still has that speed but he hasn't been tested for a long time so there's no way to know for sure.
I have a feeling that Povetkin could get blasted away midfight.

He got KD by a jab though
I didnt say he was Ray Mercer man. He gets knocked down he gets up and carries on, he doesnt do the dirty leg like Khan every time he gets touched. Im just saying the guy is plenty durable but thats not to say haye cant get him if he lets his hands go.
I think his chin is just fine, getting knocked down by Wlad and getting up to finish the fight doesnt equate to a bad chin. Haye might get him but his chin is fine. You may be right on the other points.

Haye
Povetkin is sort, fat (when not on his peds) plodding and doesn't have a good chin

Haye's size is huge, I think he'd gas out unless he was very very smart in his energy output.
I believe Haye is aware of this and that's why he's slowing coming back against bums and now will go against Briggs who will push him to the next level, and after Briggs he'll probably be looking for a decent challenge, but I would expect more of a B level fighter as opposed to somebody like Povetkin. Haye is all business so Povetkin would also be high risk low reward.
