LOL. And this is why boxing is a circus. If Joe Montana Jr & John Elway Jr could grab some guys to play football against each other & try to pawn it off as something anyone should give a f#ck about football would be in as f#cked up a position as boxing is these days.
F#ck these losers trying to capitalize off their dad's accomplishments. And f#ck Larry Holmes for being involved in this.
amen.......
thats like laila ali vs fgrazier fiasco look at aaron pryor jr. a total journeyman with like 15 loses afetr he stepped up when he beat that mexican contender.
They tried to make this fight 7 years ago. They're called celebrity boxers?

Marvin Hagler Jr. to Make Boxing Debut
By External Writer - Tue September 22, 2009
It’s time for a “next generation” of boxing champions.
Marvin Hagler Jr., son of the multiple World Champion, is set to step into the ring as he makes his Celebrity Boxing debut on October 10.
Hagler will fight “Philadelphia’s own” Billy Link at the Marple Sports Arena in Broomall.
The event is called Celebrity Boxing 12: The Next Generation, and Hagler is brimming with enthusiasm-and impatience.
“Seems like forever since we announced this,” Hagler said. “But it’s getting closer and I’m very excited.”
Hagler’s father became a figure known worldwide for his thundering fists and toughness. But the “next generation” is happy to write his own story.
“I’m very focused and I’m going to win this fight. I’ve been training hard,” Hagler Jr. said. “I’m not over-confident, but it’s a fact that I will win on October 10.”
The match with Link is a precursor to what Hagler *really *wants-a bout with fellow “next generation” Celebrity Boxer Sugar Ray Leonard Jr., expected to take place in February.
But for now, the attention is squarely on Billy Link and the match on October 10.
“Got to take care of business,” Hagler said. “Can’t look ahead.”
Concordville Nissan and Subaru in nearby Glen Mills are sponsoring the event.

As long as I don't ever have to see Aaron Pryor Jr. fight again! His fight against Hart and others showed he just does not have anything at all to offer.
Who cares. They are bums
if you are the son of a boxing legend, and you become a boxer, you will be a bum
history has proven this fact. time and time again
i mean, freaking Chavez jr might be the greatest fighter who is the son of a boxing legend, as cringeworthy as that sounds
