The guy boxed beautifully for 5 rounds. His jab is sensational to watch. He is always in an exciting fight. Tremendous heart. He is just the type of fighter that we need in Boxing. A real peoples champion!
He is already ready to get back in the ring for December time! A Real Man!
If he wasn't interested in winning he'd have run around the ring for 12 rounds and lost 120-108. He tried to win a fight that was almost unwinnable for him.
he outboxed Canelo the first 4 rounds, the first couple round was actually a complete shut out and he made Canelo look dumb,at the time i could have pictured the whole fight going the same way with Canelo not pushing the action like he should have done vs mayweather but didnt,Canelo never used his weight advantage which was a bad tactic and maybe khan knew he wouldnt, khan took this fight knowing what he could do if he never made mistakes,he came to win you cowardly little keyboard twat :bottle:
stop lying. Khan took this for the payday and admitted such- "i was looking for a big fight". The outcome was inevitable to anyone that had seen Khan and Canelo fight prior to this.
You can ask any fighter not currently earning purses this much if they would go up in weight and get KO'd for the money and they would all say yes.
why would anyone respect a man that instead of trying to avenge a KO loss or fighting for the WW title in a tough fight, he took a huge payday to get massacred.
Every ww except floyd or Manny would've fought Canelo for that kind of purse and the PPV upside. That isn't brave or ballsy despite HBO and Fat Dan trying to sell it otherwise.
Since when in the history of the sport do fans celebrate taking a payday in a fight you have no chance to win instead of giving us a competitive fight (vs Brook or Garcia) in the division you are in?

You have to feel sorry for Khan. He never had what I takes to be a top fighter. Losing every time he got near the big time. I guess that if you can't take a punch you should consider another profession.
ths is a dumb statement, tons of guys that can take brutal shots have never had even 0.0001% of Khans success,99% of users on this site would trade places with khan just to have his money
even if khan could go all the way back to when he was 12 or so before he ever got in the ring and someone showed him these fights but then showed him his bank account I doubt he'd choose any other path in life

The man would fight a lion given the chance. Massive heart.
He was outboxing Canelo but you could see the end coming because he didn't have the power to keep him away.
Khan should have gained real boxing fans respect after his 140 run, but whatever, better late than never I guess.
As a fan of his, I want him to gain revenge over Garcia, which is hopefully next and then defend in a unification v Brook next year.

Tons of respect, he knew he'd have to execute a perfect fight to be Canelo, he never had more than a 1 in 50 shot at taking a UD in that fight. It went almost exactly how I would have expected it to. Khan couldn't afford any mistakes, he made 1 and the fight ended.
I hope a top name welterweight will come calling for him now. He's still a very tough and tricky opponent for anyone his own size.
