Would be a joke if this goes down. I hope Conor's folks at the UFC convince him not to do it. However this all makes sense, considering McGregor's discontent with the UFC lately.
I'd be lying if I said the overall hype, spectacle, and especially the trash talk between the two wouldn't have me interested, but it's still a total mismatch in the ring and for that reason, I'd rather not see it. I also question if Conor would be willing to risk his reputation as a bad-ass by getting schooled for the second time in a row by someone whom he said he'd destroy, no matter what kind of payday it would bring.
Imagine what a riot it would be if Conor actually managed to KO Floyd, though lmao. Anything can happen.
I'm not having a pissing content over circus activities or having some fanboyish argument between Floyd & Canelo, I'm just saying circus **** happens all the time.
Muhammad Ali fought Antonio Inoki in the 70's bro.
Ali also fought a NFL player in the 70s
He signed it 3 months ago, it's worth $16M per fight before PPV share for his next 5 fights according to Jeremy Botter.
Holy shit................... Thats crazy money.
That would suck.
typical floyd gayweather jr fighting someone who is coming off a loss.
Name some of the other fighters he fought coming off a loss. I will give you a head start, Zab Judah. Since it's typical you can come up with the rest.
Any mention on the contract specifics? Because he renews it almost yearly.

do lota people with irish ancestry really leave the house to support this McGregor?
There were a higher number of whites than usual the last time I went out for a McGreg fight
This fight would draw in ALL regardless of Race or Ethnicity but yes Irish fans show up for McGregor BIG TIME:
It would shatter records that is for sure because casuals will eat this sh1t up as they're already doing given the Headlines it is receiving already
You get UFC and Boxing fans together along with the Irish Fans that McGregor brings, it is going to be a Mega Event but in the ring it is a Glorified Mismatch
Yes. Some people have low IQs. You seem to get a lot of enjoyment out of that fact. Which is more bizarre to me.
Maybe they shouldn't be so opinionated then.
Former boxer Floyd Mayweather says he "started the rumour" about a potential bout with a mixed martial arts fighter - thought to be Conor McGregor.
McGregor fuelled speculation with a tweet showing him head to head with Mayweather, who retired last year.
Five-weight world champion Mayweather, 39, said he would want $100m (£69.3m) to fight the 27-year-old Irishman.
"Keep your fingers crossed, it may be a boxer versus an MMA fighter," Mayweather told fighthype.com.
"It was a name that was shot at me. It may not be a rumour."
Mayweather's father recently said his son had told him he would face "some kind of MMA fighter", while McGregor told BT Sport he wants a "billion-dollar fight" against the American.
McGregor, who lost to Nate Diaz in his most recent fight, was pulled from the UFC 200 card last month after refusing to fulfil promotional duties.
Mayweather's 49th and last fight was a unanimous decision over Andre Berto in September, after which he said: "My career is over, that's official
