Is it just me, or did ggg look slow(feet and hands) and a bit sloppy? His body looked soft and he was breathing heavy after the 1st round. He definitely lacked the overall sharpness I've seen in the past.
....or was it that he didn't take the fight seriously and didn't train as well as he could?
lil g's always been easy to hit, he just doesn't fight anyone that is a threat. He had an all out war with Ouma. He's just not that good as people think.
In b4 "Lil g was sick doe" and "Lil g lets his opponents hit him".
He probably wasn't even warmed up properly and so looked abit sluggish who knows or maybe a different game plan. Fight didn't go on long enough to see anything concrete. His body goes through more wear and tear preparing for these fights than it does in the actual fight. Fighting 3 times a year that's a long time to be in training camps too. It will eventually wear him out. He'll be shop worn just from training than his actual fights
lil g is at a comfort level fighting in these BIG BUM SHOWS he will be embarrass if he steps up to fight one of the real ones.
Enjoy it while you can, the BIG BUM SHOW is on its last leg.
i re watched the fight.......golovkin definitely looked more sluggish. he didn't work that jab like with Lemieux nore did he have nearly the speed and explosiveness as he did with Proksa.........go back and watch the first 2 rounds with proksa and then watch this fight and you will see.
i don't see how some can't see it it's clear on video if you watch these fights.
I agree...his feet looked especially heavy, and legs are usually the first thing to go. It could be down to not doing as much sparring in camp and needing a couple rounds to get going, but i guess we won't find out until he gets in with a better opponent.

Thats why Canelo should stop wasting time. GGG about to be 35 and then 36 if Canelo keeps postponing. Lets have the fight next in September.

He looked slow in the first round and like a beast in the 2nd. His competition is ruining him. In the past 2 years he's just relied on his power and doesn't show Jack.
I would say he showed some skill against Lemieux. He seems to not take many of his opponents very seriously. To be fair it was a ridiculous mismatch.

idk, they said he was 171 isn't that what he normally weighs on fight day?
his body looked really soft.........but i looked at his training camp and he was more ripped then ever. thats whats weird. but as someone stated......the guy is 34.
it's weird because golovkin looked more ripped then ever in training camp. but he just blew up on fight night.......
I noticed the same.
Looked like bloat from water/carbs. Fight day weight is usually done a few hours before so he could have been 171 this afternoon, and ate/drank a ton before the fight this time.
He did look soft as fk with water bloat. His strikes were accurate though and I don't think he looked old. He sometimes pauses when hit and that's nothing new. He may not have put 100% into training but I don't blame him one bit. Training wears you out just as much as the fights so no need to wear your body down training for a guy you know isn't a threat.

The only thing i noticed is he didn't look as ripped.

Larry he punched him behind the ear quite clearly in the first round. The second knockout was based on the uppercut that made his eyes roll. You're blind are just being stupid.
As for the fight, i think he just didn't care. He had no respect for this guy and just wanted to end it without thinking.
How does a guy who lands over 48% of his power punches and 33% of his jabs get 'old'?
Dominic Wade had a short little flurry in the 2nd round, more likely because Golovkin was looking for the KO.
When Golovkin gets out jabbed, and knocked down repeatedly then we can say he gets old.
It was nothing to do with wade...ggg just looked lethargic to me. His feet looked heavy and his punches lacked the sharpness I'm used to seeing.
why did he even fall the 1st time???
Hate Much??? Fixed fight??? Wade must have been on food stamps to settle for a career high payday of only 500k and blow his 0. Maybe if he was used to actually working he wouldn't have laid down so easily. GGG did exactly what everyone said he would which was blow this guy out of the water. It was a good stay busy fight when the man holding his belt refuses to step into the ring with him.
why did he even fall the 1st time???
Why do you smoke **** weed before a fight? Are you depressed? You are hallucinating. You behave like the worst retard on this site. Pathetic. You are a grown man? Are you serious?
