I was watching an interview with Roy Jones where he said he was the fighter with the best highlight reel. Even though Jones was entertaining to watch, his fights definitely lacked something. I don't know what it is. His fights seemed more like showcases of athleticism rather than boxing matches.
I personally think Tyson has the best highlights of any fighter I've ever seen. Who do you guys think had the best highlight reel?
I guess the consensus is here. My favorites are Tyson, Roy Jones, Felix Trinidad, Naseem.
I do enjoy watching defensive highlights like Pernell as you can see in my signature and Mayweather has a really good defensive highlight.
awesome video that Felix Trinidad one.
Kostya Tszyu comes to mind, especially that he unified the division by KTFO'ing the other champs, with the addition of getting a chicken dance.
Pacman would have some great highlights slicing up many of the other champs.
..and of course the ones mentioned, RJJ, Tyson, Hamed, etc.
Great thread!

He is right, his highlight reel picks out the best moments of his fights and makes him look like a super human fighter. If you actually watch him fight, he was largely boring and never really pressed hard for a destructive win. The athleticism was on point but this is boxing, not track and field.
The best highlight package I have seen is of Muhammad Ali, Jones, Tyson and Naz.
Trinidad
Have to say Trinidads highlights are my favorite. The passion, the love for his country, the love by his people, and knockouts. Can't go wrong

Watching mike tyson highlights on youtube is like watching a horror serial killer movie.
Roberto duran highlights was also perfectly done the music is also epic.
When I read the thread title, Roy is immediately who came to my mind. I've watched his highlight videos on YouTube a ton of times.
The only other highlight video that I've watched close to the amount of times as Roy's is Whitaker's defense highlights.
I would say Roy is definitely up there. Naseem Hamed is probably one of the most entertaining fighters of all time, highlights and actual fights, he was unorthodox, fast, and had highlight reel knockouts. Some Floyd's highlights are pretty incredible, obviously not the best fighter to watch, but I think he was in some pretty good fights too. Tommy Hearns highlights are pretty awesome just from the devastation of some of his knockouts. George Foreman too. SRR from what is available speed and ferocious knockouts. Obviously SRL.
As much as he fought so-so opposition and came undone at the highest level, Tommy Morrison has some great highlight clips to watch. That left hook and his uppercut were pretty lethal.
His fights against Ruddock and Williams were pretty entertaining.
