Austin Trout fight 118-109
Mayweather fight 114-114
Lara fight 117-111
I don't know which one is the worse...he barely won a round against Floyd..trout I thought was a draw and Lara could have went either way..
Good luck Khan, even if you stay on your feet for 12 you're gonna get jobbed regardless...
Lara won 7-5 over Canelo. The way the judges gave Canelo credit for his miraculous body punches was disgusting, I mean you could of swear Canelo was folding Lara like a chair punching like the second coming of Chavez Sr. and Duran that night hahahaha like always Canelo's team has no plan B and Canelo looked bad. Levi Martinez never was questioned about that 117-111 scorecard, how is it he gave Canelo 9 rounds to 3??
Sad thing is that the judges pretty much ignored Lara's ring generalship, winning 3 out 4 championship rounds and his defense, he made Canelo look silly in there. I will never forget what Lara told me when I asked him what did he think about Canelo, told me he's a good fighter and he knew that the judges were going to give him rounds and wanted to really hurt Canelo but just couldn't be stupid enough to trade with a light heavyweight and get dropped.
why would you risk jail by paying off judges just to get a draw on 1 card in a loss and really wide cards in a close fight your guy won ?
makes no sense.
Judges do seem to love Canelo though.
Lara fight was garbage. You had to use a magnfying glass to see those body shots he was landing because I didn't see where he was that effective.
Clean effective head scoring takes a priority over body punches any day of the week everything being equal. Flashy and easy enough to see even for complete boxing noobs.
Now the Trout fight I don't see where that one was debatable. He had the more effective punches of the two the entire night. Trout basically fought a better version of the Cotto fight. Active work right, but a lot of it really wasn't that effective.
1-2s all night? The overall punch output was dead even but Canelo landed much harder shots. He had the edge in power shots. And how did Canelo miss everything up top when he busted his eye open? I literally posted pics and all the big shots landed that night were Canelo. When both guys land the same total punches but one guy busts the other guys eye open and lands the much harder shots he get's those rounds. That's not even counting the fact that Lara was flat out running. If you gonna fight going backwards like that you better double your opponent up in landed shots. Because weak armed jabs while the other guy is landing power shots and going forward will beat you every time.
We are nit picking because so many dull rounds with nobody landing punches so a big shot here and a big shot there were enough to win rounds when the other guy is landing soft jab here soft jab there and running from you.
I had Canelo winning the fight 7-5 over Lara..just saying 9-3 was ridiculous that's all.

Newsflash, giving someone a cut from one punch doesnt mean you win lol. And from what i saw canelos eye was swollen too.
Controlled the majority of rounds by going backwards and literally running? Barely anything happened because of the way Lara chose to fight so you give the edge in boring nothing rounds to the man going forward and throwing/landing the harder shots. Canelo did both and deserved to win. Once Lara got his eye busted open and saw his own blood he took running to another level. Disgusting and when you lose fighting like that you have no one to blame but yourself.
Canelo didnt win that fight. It was close but he didnt win it. He missed alot more than he landed, and you saying lara ran after being cut is irrelevant he always fights that way. Lara had the better ring generalship and footwork throughout the whole fight, he jabbed canelo with ease and landed straight lefts then moved to the side. Canelo spent the whole fight just chasing him around looking for big shots to land and sometimes he would land a nice flurry but mostly just ate jabs to the face.
Lara was slick in there and was outpointing canelo pretty much each round, then canelo throws one combo and they give him the round it was bull**** how they robbed lara, but he always gets robbed.

Lara was hitting him with 1-2's all night. Canelo went to the body but was flailing all night up top looking terrible..he can't cut the ring off to save his life.....I hate Lara, he gets so much credit on here for never winning a big fight..but that card was crazy...

It is if you don't like running! If you are judging and you don't like that style of fighting then all the close rounds where NOTHING happened you give to Canelo because he at least came forward trying to make it a fight while the other guy went backwards running. I had the fight closer then that but it's not really that crazy a score card for a nightmare style fight. My rule is if it's close I give the round to the aggressor and harder puncher. That was Canelo. If Lara was going to fight like that he needed to DOMINATE the punch stats and be more active or sit down on his punches and do some damage at spots. Instead he did neither and ran so you have no right to cry about the judges when that happens.

You're only complaining cos you like the skin pigmentation of those other two guys. The judges score cards had Canelo beating Cotto by 10 or 9 rounds. You really think Cotto only won 2 rounds?
Lol, no.... I don't like Lara at all...Cotto was one of my favorites as well..I had it like 8-4 Canelo I think. He controlled the fight. Cotto couldn't do anything to back him up one bit. Too strong, too big...he lost....
Let's get real, the Lara fight was not 117-111.. No fking way...

i dont know about that but what i do know is gbp has had more crazy judging at their promotional events then top rank and pbc combined
Not to mention some shady refereeing.
Lara fight was the only one that could have went either way.
However, yes those were three terrible score cards. Happens all the time (not just in Canelo fights)
I thought Canelo clearly won the Cotto fight even though it was competitive...the 3 cards show the judges pretty much saw the same thing.... These other cards scream of favoritism for Canelo....the Lara card and Mayweather card are laughable..

The worst were the scorecards for the Cotto fight. Believe whatever you want about the winner of the fight but it was far from clear but the judges had it 118-110, 119-109 and 117-111...thats terrible.
Cotto wasn't gonna win the fight by any margin that night, no matter what happened.

Exactly. Stop this BS about the Trout fight he got dropped put on his butt and then because of horrible open scoring which announced that he won the fight after 8 rounds and could only lose if he was Knocked out Canelo coasted the final rounds. If not for that I believe Canelo either drops him again or knocks him out. Either way Trout lost this fight and even he knows it during his ring post fight interview said flat out I lost he was the better man, I had no answers to what he was doing ect. If even Trout says he lost why the hell are idiots trying to argue he won? Lara ran and has no one to blame but himself. Mayweather is the only fight that's questionable and that judge who scored it got dealt no longer scoring fights same idiot who gave Bradley the win over Pacman.

Even the Cotto fight, One judge gave him 11 rounds the other 10. Lol , honestly I clearly had it a draw. This Mexican fraud is an overrated fighter who knows he can bribe judges against GGG as they would play no role.
Because you had it a draw, everyone else are wrong. I like your logic.
