Believe it in few days the announcement will be made. Ufc didn't want to pay mcgregor the guaranteed 10 million. Mayweather promised him the money plus extra. STAY TUNED STAY TUNED. NOT A RUMER. (Inside source)

Unless McGregor's UFC deal is actually up (which I doubt) any further speculation is utter bull****.
Money or not, Floyd doesn't have the required infrastructure to stage an MMA PPV; thought, being Floyd, he's got most of the required relationships (MGM Resorts, strong profile in Vegas, experience with the nuts and bolts of staging a PPV, etc).
If McGregor is truly done with his UFC contract, working with Mayweather Promotions to stage a PPV (while leveraging Haymon's relationship with SpikeTV to bring in higher quality available talent from BellatorMMA) would make actually perfect sense. Doubt that that is actually possible.
Before anyone believes this garbage;Connor is not legally able to join another promotion until he loses his title and is out of contract. Even if your contract ends, you cannot leave unless you drop/lose your title. He could legally get out of the UFC by retiring, but then he can't join another promotion.
Problem solved
I have decided to retire young. Thanks for the cheese. Catch ya's later.— Conor McGregor (@TheNotoriousMMA) April 19, 2016
The problem with this is that the UFC refuses to co-promote. So McGregor would be forced to fight on shows like Bellator and WSOF where they have way less viewers and he'll quickly become irrelevant because the money he's getting isn't going to translate into good enough ratings.
No fighter can ever be bigger than the UFC brand. It's so much different than boxing because the UFC holds such a monopoly over the sport that it makes it very hard for a fighter who gets released, or decides to leave, to succeed.

That came straight from a guy who claims he's tasted her juice.
Did you hear the one about Boxingfan1991? Some say he must be gay.
I tried to argue
but they said if he was straight he wouldn't Talk about MMA
Did you hear that one about Susan? Some say she's iust a tease.
In her camisole she's six feet tall
she'd knock you to your knees.
